CATCHER'S HELMET WITH FACE GUARD HAVING RAISED EYEBROW AREAS
A catcher's mask comprises a two-piece plastic shell composed of a rigid front shell and a rigid rear shell. The front and rear shells are connected by a strap harness attached to the front shell and have padding assemblies. The front shell has ventilation holes including ear holes positioned over the wearer's ears and a full jaw protector integrally formed as part of front shell. A wire faceguard is removably attached to the front shell extending over the ear holes. A top upper member of the faceguard comprises a center bar part, a left side bar part bent upwardly with respect to the center bar part to form a left eyebrow area, and a right side bar part bent upwardly with respect to the center bar part to form a right eyebrow area. The rear shell has a concave padding assembly comprised of a concave TPU shock absorbing layer, and a nested concave comfort layer.

MULTI-COMPONENT HELMET CONSTRUCTION
A motorsport helmet includes a shell having a lower edge, a liner extending along an interior of the shell, and a support portion coupled to the shell and extending between the shell and the liner adjacent the lower edge. In some configurations, when the helmet is positioned on a DOT Standard No. 218 test head form, a portion of the lower edge is above the test line and a portion of the lower edge is below the test line, and the support portion extends from the portion of the lower edge that is above the test line to a location below the test line. The helmet may also include a muzzle adapted to cover the mouth and chin area of a wearer, and a magnetic coupling assembly releasably coupling the muzzle to the shell.

Helmet for reducing concussive forces during collision and facilitating rapid facemask removal
An improved design for a helmet to reduce injuries caused by helmet-to-helmet collisions. Certain embodiments include novel quick release features that permit the detachment of a facemask from a helmet in 30 seconds or less, resulting in the ability to attend to an injured player in a rapid fashion and without the need for any additional tools to accomplish such removal. Other aspects relate to impact energy absorbing constructions, including shock absorbing systems and PEEK facemask designs, that when combined with the quick release features described, provide a superior helmet for a player's protection.
SCALABLE HELMET
An exemplary scalable helmet includes a base helmet having a lower edge, a ballistic portion removably attached to the base helmet, and a mounting portion including at least one connector. The mounting portion extends along a portion of the lower edge of the base helmet for connecting an accessory to the scalable helmet. The connector includes at least one restraining portion for restraining movement of the accessory attached to the base helmet. The mounting portion extends below a lower edge of the ballistic portion when the ballistic portion is attached to the base helmet, and the ballistic portion is removable from the base helmet without removing an accessory connected to the connector.

Helmet
A head protection helmet including an impact resistant shell that includes a cavity for accommodating a user's head. The helmet further includes an array of crushable bodies having a hollow closed configuration, e.g. flutes in corrugated material 14, 16, the crushable bodies each having an axis that extends outwardly from the cavity to absorb impact forces exerted along the direction of the axis.
