Baseball batter's helmet
A baseball batter's helmet includes a helmet body having an outer helmet surface and an inner helmet surface, and multiple removable plugs molded into the helmet body at multiple locations. Each removable plug is configured to be removed, thereby forming a through-hole through the inner helmet surface and the outer helmet surface at the respective location of the removable plug on the helmet body. The helmet also includes an attachment component that is removably connected to the inner helmet surface upon removal of one or more of the removable plugs from the helmet body.
COLLAPSIBLE HELMET AND CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION METHOD
A collapsible helmet is formed as an arcuate layered structure openable into a honeycomb protective configuration. The arcuate layered structure is formed from a number of arcuate segments each covering only part of the helmet. Each segment is oriented so that an extensional cell direction of the honeycomb structure is radial for a middle-region. The arcuate layered structure is preferably bounded by arcuate end plates which engage with each other when the helmet is open to form a rigid loop encircling a bottom edge of the helmet.
HELMETS COMPRISING ADDITIVELY-MANUFACTURED COMPONENTS
A helmet comprising one or more additively-manufactured components designed to enhance performance and use of the helmet, such as: impact protection, including for managing different types of impacts; fit and comfort; adjustability; and/or other aspects of the helmet. Methods of additively-manufacturing components for such helmets are also provided, including methods involving expandable materials and the expansion of post-additively manufactured expandable components.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING USER'S HEAD, AIRBAG FOR THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE AIRBAG
A head protection device includes an airbag receiving case flexibly bent along a user's neck to allow both ends to be releasably fastened, an airbag folded and stored in the airbag receiving case, and an inflator part which includes a battery and supplies inflated gas to the airbag. The airbag includes an occipital part which protects a back part of the user's head, a front/upper head part which protects a front part and an upper part of the head, a right part which protects a right area of the head, and a left part which e protects a left area of the head.
Safety helmet and methods of using a safety helmet by a firefighter
A safety helmet for a firefighter includes an outer shield having a neck opening and a front opening, a hinge located on an upper region of the front opening of the outer shield, a fire-retardant foam liner, a face shield including a sensor carrier attached to the hinge, a particulate air filter, a light emitting diode (LED) light strip, a mask mechanism configured to attach to the tapered nose opening of the transparent screen and the particulate air filter, a heads-up display (HUD) connected to an upper region of a proximal edge of the mask mechanism which faces the tapered nose opening, an oxygen port connected to the mask mechanism, a mask body connected to a distal edge of the mask mechanism, a speaker and microphone unit attached to the mask body, and a regulator nose cone.
Crown Gravity Helix Helmet
The disclosed invention relates to a sport helmet designed for enhanced comfort and functionality, particularly for users with textured or voluminous hair. The helmet includes an outer shell with an opening bordered by a silk band and hard shell, allowing hair to pass through without damage. A multi-layer liner features a silk top layer, padding foam to prevent slippage, and optionally antimicrobial or moisture-wicking materials. The design accommodates various hair types and includes features such as anti-static treatments, modular panels, quick-release fasteners, and ventilation channels to improve usability and wearability.
Single-use, disposable helmets, hoods, and helmet/hood assemblies, and methods of making and using the same
Hood assemblies with disposable hoods are provided. In one implementation, a single-use, disposable hood includes a hood material sized to extend over a user's head and down to a neck/shoulder region. The hood material includes a face shield opening extending through the hood material. The hood further includes a fixed face shield attached to the hood material and covering the face shield opening; two or more hood connecting members positioned along an outer periphery of the face shield opening; and a removable stick-on face shield guard sized to extend over the face shield opening and be removably attachable to the hood, the removable stick-on face shield guard comprises a transparent face shield material, and two or more face shield guard connecting components being attachable to and/or connectable to and/or engageable with said hood material or said fixed face shield.
Helmet
The present disclosure relates to a helmet, and the helmet according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a chin curtain (100) disposed at a chin guard (20) of a helmet body (10), wherein the chin curtain (100) rotates with respect to the chin guard (20).
Protective helmet
A motorcycle helmet, having a helmet shell, a chin part for covering a chin portion of a wearer, and a visor, uses a coupling mechanism by means of which the chin part is fastened to the helmet shell and pivotable between a lower position and an upper position. With the chin part in the lower position, by means of the coupling mechanism, the visor can assume a respective pivoting position between a closed position and an open position. The coupling mechanism is further designed, upon pivoting of the chin part from the upper position into the lower position after the chin part has previously been pivoted from the lower position into the upper position, to cause the visor to occupy a pre-pivoting position differing from the closed position, which pre-pivoting position the visor occupied before the pivoting of the chin part from the lower position into the upper position.
Reconfigurable helmet
A reconfigurable helmet and exemplary uses thereof are disclosed. The reconfigurable helmet includes a first portion that includes an outer shell and a second portion that includes a liner. The first portion can translate relative to a second portion to expose one or more functional layers for removal or replacement. A user can configure and reconfigure the helmet by adding, removing, or replacing one or more of the functional layers.
