APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING THERAPEUTIC AGENTS
The present embodiments provide apparatus and methods suitable for delivering a therapeutic agent to a target site. The apparatus generally comprises at least one container for holding a therapeutic agent, and a pressure source for facilitating delivery of the therapeutic agent. In one embodiment, the pressure source may be placed in selective fluid communication with a proximal region of the container and fluid from the pressure source may flow through at least a portion of the container to urge the therapeutic agent through container towards the target site. In an alternative embodiment, the container and the pressure source may be coupled to first and second inlet ports of a connecting member, respectively, such that the therapeutic agent flows through an outlet port of the connecting member and towards the target site.
POINT OF CARE DRUG DELIVERY APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus (100) and a method for a point of care drug product delivery are provided. A point of care drug product delivery apparatus includes a central interface member (110) that serves as an interface between a saline source, a drug product source, and an infusion line. The central interface member facilitates priming the infusion line with saline from the saline source, infusing drug product to a patient from the drug product source, and flushing the infusion line with saline from the saline source. According to aspects of the current subject matter, the central interface member provides and/or forms fluidic connections and/or passageways between various ones of the saline source, the drug product source, and the infusion line.
Systems, apparatus, and methods for fluid infusion
In some embodiments, a system can include a fluid delivery assembly and a drive assembly. The fluid delivery assembly is configured to be releasably mechanically and, optionally, electrically coupled to the drive assembly. When the fluid delivery assembly is releasably coupled to the drive assembly, the drive assembly can control delivery of fluid from the fluid delivery assembly (e.g., to a patient). For example, the drive assembly can be releasably coupled to the fluid delivery assembly to control delivery of fluid from the fluid delivery assembly to provide continuous (e.g., non-pulsatile) fluid flow from the fluid delivery assembly.
INFUSION MANAGEMENT PLATFORM WITH INFUSION DATA GROUPING LOGIC
An infusion management platform can determine, based on one or more infusion events, whether to group infusions or segments of infusions. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
INTEGRATED STRONTIUM-RUBIDIUM RADIOISOTOPE INFUSION SYSTEMS
Methods for setting up, maintaining and operating a radiopharmaceutical infusion system, that includes a radioisotope generator, are facilitated by a computer of the system. The computer may include pre-programmed instructions and a computer interface, for interaction with a user of the system, for example, in order to track contained volumes of eluant and/or eluate, and/or to track time from completion of an elution performed by the system, and/or to calculate one or more system and/or injection parameters for quality control, and/or to perform purges of the system, and/or to facilitate diagnostic imaging.
Device for conveying biological material
A device for conveying a biological material includes a body including an aperture configured to enable connection with an outside of the body and a chamber configured to store a biological material, a plurality of conveyors accommodated in the body and configured to convey the material, and a driver configured to select one of the plurality of conveyors, align the selected conveyor with the aperture, and move the selected conveyor to the outside of the body through the aperture.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DELIVERING SUBCUTANEOUS DOSE THROUGH MULTIPLE INJECTIONS
A device for administering needle-free subcutaneous treatment to a patient comprises an actuator configured to deliver a plurality of volumes of a treatment at a plurality of locations on a body of the patient; at least one imaging device configured to detect a movement of the needle-free device from a first location on the body of the patient to a second location on the body of the patient; and a processor configured to determine the second location on the body of the device relative to the first location from the movement of the needle-free device relative to the first location on the body, the processor further configured to determine a volume of the plurality of volumes of the treatment to deliver to the body of the patient at the second location.
MEDICAL INJECTION DEVICE WITH GAS EVACUATION
An injection device (1) for injecting a medical liquid, comprising: —a piston (6) arranged within an inner space (4) delimiting an upper space (4b) and a lower space (4a), —an evacuation path, said evacuation path traversing the piston (6) the lower space (4a) to the upper space (4b) of the inner space, —a selector (24) between a lower portion (17a) and an intermediate portion (17b) of the evacuation path, configured for selectively allowing the gas to go through and preventing the medical liquid from going through said selector (24, 50, 60), —a purge valve (22) between between a blocking and a passing configuration which requires an overpressure in the intermediate portion (17b) caused by the piston (6) travelling towards the lower end of the body (2).
INFUSION SYSTEM AND CATHETER FOR SUCH AN INFUSION SYSTEM
An infusion system and method for providing different medical fluids to a patient. The infusion system, which can be used in complex infusion therapies, includes a catheter with a catheter tube and at least one lumen extending longitudinally through the catheter tube between a proximal tube end and a distal tube end. A plurality of pump devices are each connected to the at least one lumen so as to convey fluid. A control device is connected to the pump devices and adapted to control the pump devices so that the different medical fluids can be delivered through the at least one lumen by the pump devices in time division multiplex. The catheter can include the pump devices. Each pump device can be configured as a micropump mounted at the proximal tube end.
STIMULATION OF PENIS ERECTION CONTROL
A penis erection stimulation system comprising a fully implantable drug delivery device for delivering a drug in relation to a penis to achieve erection of the penis.
