UNIVERSAL CLAMPING AND CONNECTION SYSTEM
A clamping and connection system configured to be pivotally attached to two pieces of equipment such as an IV pole and a hospital bed. The clamping and connection system includes a clamping portion and an attachment portion. The system is configured to be rotatable around the attachment portion to allow optimal placement of the pole while in transport and connected to the bed.
DISCREET HEALTH SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR INTRAVENOUS INFUSION EQUIPMENT
An arrangement for medical equipment configured to appear more desirable to the patient is provided. The present disclosure provides an arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment configured to appear as an ordinary household object. The arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment may be configured to appear as an object fitting into the patient's interests in order to make the patient more relaxed and comfortable. The arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment may be configured to appear as an object more desirable to the patient while the equipment is not in use and then extend into a more suitable position when the equipment is in use.
SYRINGE PUMP HAVING A PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A syringe pump is disclosed that includes a pressure sensor assembly, a plunger, first and second pressure sensors, and a processor. The pressure sensor assembly senses a force and includes the plunger having a sensing surface configured to receive the force, the first pressure sensor operatively coupled to the plunger and configured to estimate the force applied to the sensing surface, and the second pressure sensor operatively coupled to the plunger and configured to estimate the force applied to the sensing surface. The processor is coupled to the first and second pressure sensors to estimate a magnitude of the force.
INTRAVENOUS FLUID BAG SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY
An intravenous fluid bag supporting assembly includes a mobile base having a plurality of wheels, a telescoping pole having a lower end connected with the base and an inverted polyhedron structure connected with an upper end of the pole and configured to receive at least one intravenous fluid bag. An adjustable light assembly is arranged on the pole in spaced relation between the inverted polyhedron structure and the base. A support platform is arranged on the pole in spaced relation between the light assembly and the base, the support platform supporting a plurality of housings configured to receive a plurality of displays and pumps or other medical instruments, respectively. A hang grip and basket are also arranged on the pole.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Clamping
A clamp apparatus is disclosed that includes a body, first and second actuators, first, second, third and fourth gear sets, first and second movable grippers, and at least one leaf spring. The first gear set is coupled to the first actuator and the second gear set is coupled to the second actuator. The first gear set engages the second gear set. The first and second movable grippers are each operatively coupled to the body. The third gear set is coupled to the first movable gripper and the fourth gear set is coupled to the second movable gripper. The third gear set operatively engages the fourth gear set. The leaf spring engages with the third gear set and the fourth gear set to urge the first movable gripper and the second movable gripper toward a clamped position.
Insert-storage type intravenous drip moving seat
An insert-storage intravenous drip moving seat includes a main body, two extension support arms, an inverted V-shaped support arm and plural moving wheels. The two extension support arms form a V-shaped structure, and each is bent and connected to a fixed bar, so that a storage space is formed under the main body and the two extension support arms; the bottom of both ends of each fixed bar has a moving wheel; the inverted V-shaped support arm is connected to the two extension support arms; the bottom of the other ends of the inverted V-shaped support arm has one of the moving wheels; both moving wheels are disposed on the same radius distance; and a guide entrance is formed between the two fixed bars and corresponsive to the inverted V-shaped support arm to provide an insert-storage design of the inverted V-shaped arm by the guide entrance.
IV TUBING CARRIAGE SYSTEM
A device for supporting IV tubing along a distance and suspending the tubing above the floor includes a support arm and a cradle. The cradle is positioned along a shaft of the support and is configured to receive a length of IV tubing therein.
Color changing and pressure sensing check valves
A check valve includes an upper housing defining an inlet of the check valve, and a lower housing having a seating portion and defining an outlet of the check valve. The check valve further includes a chamber interposed between and defined by the upper and lower housings for fluidly connecting the inlet and the outlet, and a flexible diaphragm mounted in the chamber. The flexible diaphragm selectively permits fluid flow in a first direction, and prevents fluid backflow in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The flexible diaphragm includes a color changing material, and when the flexible diaphragm is seated on the seating portion and bent due to force of the fluid flowing in the first direction, the flexible diaphragm exhibits a color change.
Implantable medical device for improved placement and adherence in the body
A medical device comprises a flexible member that can be adhesively attached to a housing of the medical device, allowing implantation of the medical device into a body through an incision of reduced size. The flexible member can be attached to the housing either before or after implantation into the body. The flexible member comprises suture locations, including a permeable membrane or a suture hole, for suturing the medical device to tissue of the body. The suture holes can be filled with a substance penetrable by a suture needle, to minimize tissue ingrowth before or after suturing.
System and method for locating fluid leaks at a drape of a reduced pressure delivery system
A system and method for performing tissue therapy may include applying a reduced pressure to a tissue site, sensing a fluid parameter being applied to the tissue site, generating a fluid sensor signal in response to sensing the fluid parameter, and altering the fluid sensor signal in response to sensing that the fluid parameter changes. A fluid leak location mode may be entered. In response to the fluid leak location mode being entered, a graphical user interface that provides for fluid leak location functionality may be displayed. In one embodiment, the fluid leak location mode may be automatically entered in response to the sensor signal crossing a threshold value. Additionally, an alarm signal may be generated in response to determining that the fluid sensor signal crosses the threshold value.
