MEDICAL TUBE HUB
A medical tubing hub can include: a body having a top, bottom, front and back. The body can include a plurality of conduits (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.) extending from a conduit top opening at the top to a conduit bottom opening at the bottom. The hub can include an attachment means configured for attaching the body to a patient. In some aspects, the dimension from the top to the bottom of the body (e.g., height) is larger than the dimension from the front to the back of the body (e.g., thickness). In some aspects, the attachment means is a clamp, clip, adhesive on the back, double sided adhesive tape, safety pin, magnet, magnetically responsive material, Velcro, cinch, or other attachment devices. In some aspects, the attachment means is a clamp, magnet, or magnetically responsive material.
Universal retainer for surgical drains and tubing
A universal application drain bulb and tubing support system to secure one or more drain bulbs and its tubing subsequent to a surgical procedure, providing for multiple location placement of drain bulbs and tubing on a patient to reduce the incident of damage to the drain bulbs and tubing, early removal, risk of injury, infection or displacement and other common risks and hazards commonly incurred with drain bulbs and tubing.
LOCKING TUBE CLIP
A component useable with one or more tube comprises a body engageable with one or more external surface recesses of the one or more tubes. The component has a pair of jaws extending from the body for gripping an item. The component is configured, such that, in use, in a first orientation of the body relative to the respective tube(s) recesses, the component is movable along a length of the tube(s); and, in a second orientation of the body relative to the respective tube(s) recesses, the component is resistive to movement along a length of the tube(s).
MULTI-PURPOSE PROTECTIVE COVERING FOR USE ON A MEDICAL DEVICE
A multi-purpose covering for use with a medical device having a housing and an access port includes a substrate with a first end and a second end. The substrate defines the structure of the covering. The covering also includes a first securing portion nearer the first end of the substrate for securing at least one protective cap to the substrate, and a second securing portion nearer the second end for securing the substrate to the medical device. To protect the access port when the covering is sealed to the medical device, the covering can also include a sealing portion configured to be releasably secured to the medical device.
Nasal Cannula Clamping and Patient Monitoring System
A nasal cannula clamping system which holds a nasal cannula in position on a patient. The nasal cannula clamping system includes a nasal cannula clamp assembly having a clamp body and a clamp block grasping nasal cannula tubes in two non-round parallel passages/grooves which securely clamps the two tubes under the chin while not compromising the distribution of medication prescribed by the attending physician. The nasal cannula tubes are sandwiched between the clamp body and clamp block which also contains the non-round parallel passages/grooves.
STABILIZING CONNECTOR DEVICES FOR VASCULAR ACCESS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A stabilizing connector includes a connector portion and a stabilization portion. The connector portion is configured to couple to an access device. The connector portion defines at least one lumen that is configured to be placed in fluid communication with a lumen of the access device. The stabilization portion is coupled to the connector portion. The stabilization portion is configured to be placed in contact with a surface of a patient's skin to stabilize at least one of the stabilizing connector or the access device.
Line management device
The present invention includes a line management device for attaching to a fixture wherein the line management device simultaneously retains one or more patient care lines in an opening, wherein the device comprises: a flexible strap comprising a proximal strap end comprising a single slot positioned through a portion of the proximal strap end; a body portion connected to the proximal strap end, wherein the body portion comprises a channel positioned on top of the flexible strap that forms an opening through which the one or more patient care lines are positioned; and a distal strap end connected to the body portion, wherein the distal strap end extends through the single slot to secure the distal strap end to the proximal strap end.
Devices for mobility assistance and infusion management
Provided are mobility assistance devices, particularly useful in medical settings where a patient ambulation is desired but the patient remains connected to one or many medical components. The system comprises a mast connected to a base, wherein the mast is angled with respect to the base and from which any number of medical components is supported. The device geometry and connections ensure the device is extremely stable and tip-resistant. Also provided are oxygen tank holders to reliably and conveniently hold oxygen tanks and power management systems that reliably provide electrical power without impacting device performance or mobility. The device is deployable to permit conversion between a compact storage configuration and a stable deployed configuration.
Vascular catheter wire clamp
A vascular catheter wire clamp is provided. The vascular catheter clamp includes an elastic body, a clamping shaft, and a clamping shaft receiving passageway. The elastic body includes a first arm having a first retention surface, a second arm having a second retention surface, and a bent section connecting the first arm and the second arm such that first arm away from the bent section and parallel with the second arm. The clamping shaft extends inward from outward facing surface of the first arm and includes a retention member positioned along an end thereof. The clamping shaft receiving passageway is positioned through the second arm and corresponds with the clamping shaft and the retention member.
Stretchable Sleeve and Wrap for Protecting and Securing Catheter Dressings and Tubes on a Patient
An easily removable, non-irritating stretchable sleeve or chest wrap for protecting and securing a PICC line or chest catheter tubing and cap extending externally from the insertion point. The sleeve or chest wrap is easily attached to a patient's arm or body, securing the small length of the external PICC line or the central venous catheter, protecting the tubing and cap from external contaminants, and allowing easy access to the PICC line or the central venous catheter for administration of drugs or nutrients, and access for blood draws. This sleeve allows the patient freedom of movement and is comfortable enough to prevent skin irritation over long-term usage.
