IV pole clamp
The IV pole clamp is a mechanical structure. The IV pole clamp is configured for use with an IV pole. The IV pole is a prism-shaped post structure used to elevate an IV bag. The IV bag is elevated such that a pharmacologically active media can be gravity fed into the patient. The IV pole clamp attaches the IV pole to a mounting surface such as a counter. The IV pole clamp is a rotating structure such that the cant between the center axis of the IV pole and the force of gravity is adjustable. The IV pole clamp comprises a pedestal structure, a stanchion, and a clamp structure. The pedestal structure and the clamp structure attach to the stanchion. The pedestal structure attaches the stanchion to the mounting surface. The clamp structure attaches the IV pole to the stanchion.
Ambulatory Medical Pump Cartridge Locking System
A low-cost medical pump for ambulatory use provides an improved IV line cartridge attachment allowing for single handed, low force release while preventing inadvertent IV line cartridge release. A rotatable side lever minimizes the force required to move the locking elements against a spring biased force urging the locking elements to a locking position.
PORTABLE RETRACTING DEVICE FOR MEDICAL TUBING MANAGEMENT
A portable retracting device for medical tubing management includes a housing. The housing includes a retractable cord disposed within the housing, wherein the retractable cord is configured to extend from a side of the housing. The device includes a first spring clamp configured to attach to clothing of an individual, a second spring clamp configured to clamp to the medical tube having a first diameter at a first location of the first medical tube, and a third spring clamp coupled to an end of the retractable cord configured to clamp the medical tube at a second location of the first medical tube to form a first loop in the first medical tube from the first location of the first medical tube to the second location of the first medical tube.
FASTENER FOR MEDICAL TUBING
The present invention provides a fastener to secure an intravenous tube to a patient.
Peritoneal dialysis machine
A peritoneal dialysis machine has at least one mount for fixing one or more sections of a hose set for conducting a dialysis solution from and/or to a patient. A first pivot axle is provided about which the mount can be pivoted from a first position into a second position.
MEDICAL CONDUIT SECURING DEVICE
A medical conduit securing device is disclosed. The medical conduit securing device includes a first end; a second end opposing the first end, wherein the second end defines a flexible aperture; a flexible elongated body spanning a distance between the first end and the second end, the body having a plurality of raised areas; wherein reception of the first end through the second end via the flexible aperture cooperates to define a space shaped and sized to ensnare at least one medical conduit. The medical conduit securing device is configured to be attached to garments or ornaments donned by the user is a sanitary manner that does not abrase the medical conduits.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR HOLDING MEDICAL DEVICES
A medical clip for holding a medical device. The medical clip includes a first jaw and a second jaw rotatably coupled to the first jaw, the first jaw and the second jaw being rotatable with respect to each other between a closed position and an open position; an elastomeric insert configured to be positioned between the first jaw and the second jaw. The elastomeric insert defining a proximal cavity having a cavity depth that is receives a medical device between the first jaw and the second jaw. In the closed position, a distal face of the first jaw and the second jaw define a distal opening configured to receive a portion of the medical device through the distal opening; and, a proximal face of the first jaw and the second jaw define a proximal opening configured to receive a second portion of the medical device through the proximal opening.
Guidewire and catheter management device and related methods
This patent document discloses accessory devices and associated methods for catheter and guidewire management in a surgical setting. Implementations can include an accessory device having a manually deformable body that includes proximal and distal surfaces. The body may further define at least first and second apertures, each aperture extending through the body. The first aperture can be engageable with a proximal end portion of a first elongate medical device, and the second aperture can be configured to receive a second elongate medical device. The body can be slidable along the proximal end portion of the first elongate medical device and/or the second elongate medical device, and the proximal surface of the body may include a funnel leading into the first aperture, the second aperture, or both. The body may be incorporated into, or attached to, a proximal side of a hemostasis valve utilized for a medical operation.
Stabilizing Device Having a Snap Clamp
A retainer includes a first arcuate wall and a second arcuate wall that together define a channel designed to receive a medical article. The retainer has an open configuration wherein a first end of the first arcuate wall is spaced away from a first end of the second arcuate wall, and a closed configuration wherein the first end of the first arcuate wall is adjacent the first end of the second arcuate wall. A second end of the first arcuate wall opposite the first end of the arcuate wall may be spaced away from the base in the open configuration and pressed against the base in the closed configuration. The retainer also may include a first support and a second support fixed to the base, and a first and second flexible coupling connecting the first and second supports to the first and second arcuate walls.
Interlocking Low Profile Gripping Device
A low profile gripping device having a locking assembly attached to a base, wherein the locking assembly comprises a locking strap with pairs of fins disposed for insertion into an aperture of a buckle. The locking assembly comprises an offset anchor block having opposing sides, the locking strap attached to one side, and the buckle attached to the opposing side. The interface between the locking strap and the anchor block forms a groove for seating a flexible polymer tube or polymer coated cable. The groove is located above the base such that the seated tube or cable is substantially centered above the base. The locking strap is inserted through the aperture to secure the tube or cable in the groove, and the fins retain the locking strap in fixed relation to the buckle.
