Surface mount inductor and manufacturing method therefor
A surface mount inductor includes a molded body made of a composite material containing a magnetic powder, and a metal plate including a first metal plate portion that is buried in the molded body and second metal plate portions that extend from the first metal plate portion to outside the molded body. The second metal plate portions each include a first bent portion that extends from a side surface of the molded body and is bent in a direction that intersects the mounting surface and a second bent portion that is bent from the direction that intersects the mounting surface toward a side surface the molded body. The second metal plate portions extend along the molded body onto the mounting surface and form an external terminal. An internal angle of each first bent portion is formed so as to be an obtuse angle.

Magnetic adjustment member for multi-phase inductor
A multi-phase inductor includes a core made of a magnetic material; at least two phase windings surrounding the core for inducing a magnetic field in the core, such that a common mode inductance (LCM) is provided for the at least two phase windings; and an adjustment member made of a magnetic material, which adjustment member has at least two legs, which are interconnected with each other at an inner end and which are touching the core at an outer end to provide a differential mode inductance (LDM) for the at least two phase windings; wherein the outer end of each leg of the adjustment member overlays an axial side of the core and/or each leg of the adjustment member has a varying thickness between the inner end and the outer end to adjust the differential mode inductance (LDM).
Inductor
An inductor includes a conductor and an exterior member containing magnetic material. The conductor includes a main body embedded in the exterior member, a pair of lead-out parts connected to the main body, and a pair of electrode parts coupled to the main body and disposed outside the exterior member. The main body includes first and second conductive plates. The first conductive plate includes a pair of first end parts connected to the electrode parts, respectively, and a first central part sandwiched between the first end parts in a longitudinal direction. The second conductive plate includes a second central part connected to the first central part at a first connecting location and a pair of second end parts sandwiching the second central part therebetween in the longitudinal direction. The main body is bent at the first connecting location such that the first main surface faces the second main surface with a space in between. One of the first end parts is joined to one of the second end parts. Another of the first end parts is joined to another of the second end parts. This inductor reduces its direct current resistance and loss.
Inductor device, filter device, and steering system
An inductor device, a filter device, and a steering system. The inductor device includes first to third cores and first and second wires. The first core, a portion of the first wire passing through the first core, and a portion of the second wire passing through the first core are provided as a first inductor. The second core and another portion of the first wire passing through the second core are provided as a second inductor. The third core and another portion of the second wire passing through the third core are provided as a third inductor.

A coil component includes a main body portion containing resin, a coil provided in the main body portion, and an outer electrode electrically connected to the coil. A recess extending from a top surface of the main body portion toward a bottom surface thereof is provided in the side surface of the main body portion. The outer electrode is disposed in the recess, and a wall layer is interposed between the outer electrode and the inner surface of the recess.

An inductor includes a magnetic core and a conductor member. The conductor member is configured with: an insertion part that is inserted into the magnetic core; first and second outer surface arrangement parts that are directly or indirectly connected to ends of the insertion part and are arranged along first and second outer surfaces of the magnetic core, respectively; and first and second terminal parts that are connected to the first and second outer surface arrangement parts, respectively. The insertion part includes an insertion first sub part and an insertion second sub part that is stacked on the insertion first sub part. A sum of the thicknesses of the insertion first and second sub parts is larger than a thickness of the first outer surface arrangement part and larger than a thickness of the second outer surface arrangement part.

The chip electronic component includes: a substrate; a first internal coil part disposed on one surface of the substrate; a second internal coil part disposed on the other surface of the substrate opposing one surface thereof; a via penetrating through the substrate to connect the first and second internal coil parts to each other; and first and second via pads disposed on one surface and the other surface of the substrate, respectively, to cover the via, wherein the first and second via pads are extended in a direction toward portions of the first and second internal coil parts adjacent thereto.
