A delivery device may comprise a main body. The main body may comprise a peripheral region. The main body may further comprise a central region extending proud of the peripheral region. The peripheral region may have a top surface and a base. The delivery device may further comprise an adhesive coupled to at least a part of the main body. The electrochemical pump unit of mesh combined electrode of the present invention is connected to a drug injection container for operation, when it is connected to the power supply, the cathode (or anode) enters into electrochemical reaction with the electrolyte of the superabsorbent material layer through the mesh electrode to release a first gas, the first gas flows through the screen meshes of mesh electrode immediately without obstruction loss; the anode (or cathode) enters into electrochemical reaction with the electrolyte on the opposite side of superabsorbent material layer through the plane electrode to release a second gas, the second gas flows through the inter fibrous small space/channels of superabsorbent material layer and the screen meshes of mesh electrode; as the first gas and the second gas increase, the piston is pushed, and the medicament is pushed.

Vented dispensing device and method
Disclosed is a fluid dispensing device that includes at least one reservoir to hold the therapeutic fluid, at least one other unit requiring communication with ambient air, at least partly, to operate, and at least one housing defining an interior to retain the at least one reservoir and the at least one other unit. The at least one housing has at least one vent port formed on one or more of its walls. The at least one vent port is adapted to direct or communicate air to maintain pressure equilibrium between the air pressure in the interior of the at least one housing and the ambient air pressure outside the at least one housing, and provide communication with the ambient air to the at least one other unit requiring air to enable operation of the at least one other unit.

The portable compact infusion device includes a fluid drive, a fluid holding portion, a drug solution holding channel, and a support, wherein the fluid drive includes a porous body that allows generation of electroosmotic flow and a pair of rubber electrodes each containing electroconductive material and having a communicating portion, the porous body being sandwiched between the communicating portions of the pair of rubber electrodes to form a sandwiched structure.
ELECTROCHEMICAL PUMP AND DELIVERY DEVICE
An electrochemical pump adopts a hybrid pulse to intermittently activate an electrochemical reaction. The abovementioned electrochemical pump can save power effectively to prolong the lifetime of the electrochemical pump. In addition, an electrochemical pump increases the bonding strength between electrodes and a substrate by covering edges of the electrodes with an insulating layer to avoid electrode delamination caused by high-power electrochemical reactions. A delivery device using the abovementioned electrochemical pump is also disclosed.
