A relay is disclosed. In an embodiment a relay includes a first contact, a second contact, a movable element arrangeable in a closed position and in an open position; and at least one bimetallic strip, wherein the movable element electrically connects the first contact to the second contact in the closed position, wherein the first contact and the second contact are electrically isolated from each other when the movable element is arranged in the open position, and wherein the at least one bimetallic strip is configured to be deformed upon an increase in temperature such that it presses the movable element against the first and second contacts after deformation.

Circuit breakers

Electromechanical circuit breakers are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the breakers can be integrated into battery management systems to simplify battery management circuitry and/or to provide redundancy to the battery management systems. In some embodiments, the breakers can be provided to reduce damage to the battery management systems during hot-swapping of a battery cell. The breakers can be automatically resettable or not automatically resettable in various embodiments.

CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER

A circuit interrupter includes: a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact; a movable contactor which is formed as a separate part from the first fixed terminal and includes a first movable contact; a holding unit configured to hold the movable contactor so that the first movable contact is connected to the first fixed contact; and a squib configured to generate gas by combustion. In the circuit interrupter, pressure of the gas generated by the squib causes movement of the movable contactor in a direction away from the first fixed terminal so that the first movable contact is separated from the first fixed contact.

HOUSING OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HOUSING OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND BREAKER HAVING THE SAME

Provided is a breaker capable of further downsizing without impairing rigidity and strength of a case.
