Test plug for a FT switch
A test plug has a housing with a first side that has inputs for receiving various connection types, a second side having blades and fingers extending thereform, and a base. The first side extends at an oblique angle from the base, providing accessibility to the input connections thereon. The second side is capable of a removable connection to a test switch in which the fingers separate the current jack contacts before the electrical connection between the test plug blades and test switch jaws is made.
Switch assembly and power supply system
A switch assembly and a power supply system are provided. The switch assembly includes a switch body having a two-pin plug, a first circuit board, and a second circuit board. The first circuit board is provided with a power supply terminal block and a group of female terminals. The group of female terminals includes a first female terminal, a second female terminal and a third female terminal. The first female terminal and the second female terminal are respectively plugged with two pins of the two-pin plug. The first female terminal is electrically connected to the power supply terminal block, and the second female terminal is electrically connected to the third female terminal. The second circuit board is provided with a load connection terminal and a male terminal electrically connected to the load connection terminal. The male terminal is plugged with the third female terminal.
Switchgear-contacting device
A switchgear contact device includes at least one first contact element and at least one second contact element which can be slid inside each other in a positive-locking manner, such that they can be connected to each other in an electrically conductive manner in order to create an electrically conductive connection. The at least one first contact element includes a first cup-like contact sleeve and the at least one second contact element includes a contact pin that is surrounded by a hollow cylinder-like enclosure and is centrally arranged therein. A peripheral free area is provided between the contact pin and the enclosure which can be closed on the front side by an annular stop on which a force is exerted and which is arranged such that it is displaceable in the axial direction of the contact pin.
Plug-on neutral connector for use with a fault circuit interrupt circuit breaker
A plug-on neutral connector includes a neutral terminal plug arranged to be inserted into a neutral terminal of a circuit breaker, a conductive fastener, including a pass-through, electrically coupled to the neutral terminal plug and arranged to be fastened on a neutral bus bar of a load center, and a housing disposed over at least a portion of the conductive fastener.
Electric motor module with integrated cam switches incorporating a single wiring connection point
Provided is an electric motor assembly and method for assembling an electric motor assembly within an appliance. The electric motor assembly eliminates the use of a rigid or flexible circuit board. It also eliminates the need for soldering contacts between the electrical switches, circuit board and motor which can increase the possibility of operational failures. The electric motor assembly further provides a single power point wiring connection between the switch and motor terminals and connector port allowing the motorized device to communicate with an appliance controller. Furthermore, by positioning certain mechanical components for operating electrical switches on the baseplate of the electric motor assembly and eliminating secondary components on adjacent brackets, a reduction in the dimensional tolerance stack-up among the electrical switches can be obtained.
Electrical equipment and additional functional module associated therewith
An electrical equipment (1) for an electrical installation is connected to an electrical grid, and has at least: a primary functional module (2) suitable for carrying out a current interruption function, and an additional functional module (5) for carrying out at least one function requiring a power supply. The at least one function of the additional functional module (5) is a function of shaping the physical parameters of an electrical signal originating from the first line (L) of the electrical grid.
SWITCHING DEVICE WHOSE STATIONARY CONTACT IS PROVIDED WITH TEST TERMINAL
A switching device including: a body which has a first side wall and a first end wall, the first side wall being perpendicular in relation to a longitudinal direction, and the first end wall is substantially perpendicular to the first side wall; and a first fixed contact comprising an inner section and an outer section, the inner section having a thickness dimension, the outer section protrudes from the first side wall in the longitudinal direction. The first fixed contact includes a test terminal which is integral to the inner section and protrudes from the inner section in a lateral direction, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and an end wall plane defined by the first end wall, the test terminal having a substantially planar test terminal surface, and the test terminal has a thickness dimension which is parallel to the thickness dimension of the inner section, the thickness dimension of the test terminal is substantially smaller than the thickness dimension of the inner section, the test terminal is accessible from outside the body from the direction of the first end wall, and the test terminal is adapted to be connected to a female connector.
Power distribution system with snubber plate
An apparatus and method managing a circuit breaker in a power distribution system unit. The power distribution system unit can include a housing with an internal bus structure, a door assembly which includes at least one plug received in a socket. A snubber plate is positioned at the socket and includes an aperture through which the plug can be received.
COMPLIANT, HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT CIRCUIT PROTECTION DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Solid state and hybrid circuit protection devices include improved arc-less switching capability and overcurrent protection, improved terminal assemblies and improved thermal management features that reduce or eliminate ignition sources for hazardous environments. The solid state and hybrid circuit protection devices are ignition protected and avoid possible explosions and therefore obviate a need for conventional explosion-proof enclosures to ensure safe operation of an electrical power system in hazardous locations.
