A switch device includes an actuation unit, a movable unit, a first base, and a second spring, which is a torsion coil spring that acts between the actuation unit and the movable unit. The movable unit is movable with respect to the base. The second spring applies a force to the actuation unit when the actuation unit is at a third position in a direction that is not parallel to a direction in which the torsion coil spring applies a force to the actuation unit when the actuation unit is at a fourth position.

DUAL POWER SUPPLY TRANSFER SWITCH AND SWITCHING MECHANISM THEREOF

A switching mechanism for a dual power supply transfer switch. The switching mechanism has a switching assembly, which includes a driving plate, a driving rod, an actuator and an auxiliary mechanism. The driving plate includes an arc-shaped driving groove. The driving rod extends into the driving groove. The auxiliary mechanism includes a spring. The driving plate is able to rotate under an external force. The driving groove bypasses the driving rod when an end of the driving groove does not contact the driving rod, and the driving groove pushes the driving rod to rotate over a first angle and urges the spring to deform when the end of the driving groove contacts the driving rod. The spring recovers and drives the driving rod to rotate over a second angle after the spring having passed a dead point, thus causing the actuator turning on or off a first power supply. The switching mechanism also includes another switching assembly for switching a second power supply. A dual power supply transfer switch including the switching mechanism also is provided.

A switch including a housing, a first contact arrangement having a first commutation contact element and a first contact, a second contact arrangement having a second commutation contact element and a second contact, and also a nominal contact arrangement. The first commutation contact element and the second commutation contact element form a snap-action connection with one another in the closed position of the commutation contact element. When the switch is closed, a distance between the first contact and the second contact is smaller than a distance between the first commutation contact element and the second commutation contact element in the direction of the axis.

Snap-action drive and switching device having a snap-action drive

A snap-action drive for a switching device has an energy store, a swinging movable part and a securing device for the movable part. The securing device secures a position of the swinging movable part by a force effect, wherein a reversal of direction of the movable part takes place counter to the force effect.

Weld resistant contactor

In an electromagnetically controlled actuator of an electrical contactor, switching is done by the actuator with a set of fixed contacts and a set of movable contacts. The movable contacts are carried on a movable contact carrier. The movable contact carrier is coupled to and driven by an armature surrounded by a coil. The armature carries a coupling shaft, and the coupling shaft carries at least part of a bistable coupling mechanism which joins the armature to the movable contact carrier and allows the movable contact carrier and armature to keep the fixed and movable contacts separated when a short circuit current creates a contact welding situation.
