Communication enabled circuit breakers
Communication enabled circuit breakers are described. Methods associated with such communication enabled circuit breakers are also described. The communication enabled circuit breakers may include one or more current sensors. The one or more current sensors may be disposed in a clip. The clip may be coupled to a line side phase connection, and the clip may be shielded to attenuate signals.
ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLES, ASSEMBLIES THEREOF, AND END OF LIFE FUNCTIONALITY
Electrical system and method for detecting an end-of-life (EOL) of a circuit are disclosed. In an embodiment, the electrical system includes a sensing circuit for detecting variance of an input electrical power to an electrical device; and a processor for receiving the variance and comparing the variance with a threshold range. When the variance is out of the threshold range, the processor generates a signal to cause the output electrical power disconnected.
Communication enabled circuit breakers
Wireless communication enabled circuit breakers are described. Methods associated with such wireless communication enabled circuit breakers are also described. The wireless communication enabled circuit breakers may controlled by a remote entity. The remote entity may wirelessly case the wireless communication enabled circuit breakers to trip.
SWITCH
The present invention provides a switch which allows a communication module to be made waterproof while maintaining a switch function. A wireless switch device which functions as a rocker switch includes a cover member and an elastic waterproof member both of which seal an opening of a casing member in a state in which a wireless switch module is housed in the casing member. The wireless switch device further includes a seesaw-shaped member which is arranged on an outer side of the cover member and the waterproof member which outer side is opposite to a side on which the wireless switch module is sealed with the cover member and the waterproof member.
PV stop potential voltage and hazard stop system
A system to interrupt the line or supply side power or charged system of any building, appliance, process, and the like, so as to render the system without charge or current output outside of the junction box/enclosure or equipment load supply connection so that emergency first responders or solar/any technician, authorized personnel in any field, system maintenance crew may avoid electrocution, chemical or machine/appliance hazard in the presence of fire, explosion, structural failure/compromise, moisture, flammables, caustics, hazmat, water stream, mist, fogging, physical damage or servicing of the system. The system can be engaged for any anticipated disaster such as fire, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, and the like.
Systems and methods to allow for a smart device
Smart switch devices, systems, and methods for modifying an existing electrical system to utilize the power state output of a physical switch as an indicator or signal for the operation of a smart home device or system or network of such devices to facilitate interoperability of physical switches with smart devices. The smart switch detects or determines the power state of a circuit and infers the corresponding state of a mechanical switch that operates the circuit. This information is then transmitted to associated smart devices, which may not be physically connected to the circuit controlled by the switch. When the mechanical switch is operated, it can control both electrically attached loads, such as a conventional light appliance, and wirelessly control unconnected smart devices.
WIRELESS CHECKING SYSTEM OF SWITCH AND OPERATING UNIT PROVIDED IN VEHICLE AND WIRELESS CHECKING METHOD USING THE SAME
A wireless checking system of a switch and operation unit that are provided in a vehicle includes: a switch disposed at a predetermined location in the vehicle; an operation unit wirelessly connected with the switch and disposed at a predetermined location in the vehicle to be operated by the switch; and a diagnosis equipment wirelessly connected with each of the switch and the operation unit and configured to wirelessly operate the switch and the operation unit, detect an operation state of the switch and the operation unit, and diagnose a wireless connection state of the switch and the operation unit.
Hazardous location compliant circuit protection devices, systems and methods with safety lockout/tagout components
Hazardous location compliant solid state circuit protection devices include safety lockout components ensuring disconnection as a safeguard in the completion of power system maintenance and service tasks by responsible personnel. The safety lockout components may include a mechanical lockout interfacing with a physical lock element, an electrical lockout implemented through the controls of the solid state circuit breaker device, and combinations thereof. Visual device feedback and confirmation may be provided to personnel that the lockouts have been successfully activated, as well as successfully deactivated to reconnect and restore operation of the load side circuitry.
Switching module for a switch, switch, method for indicating an actuation of a switch and method for controlling a device
A switching module for a switch includes a housing configured to execute a switching movement when the switch is actuated. The switching module also includes an actuator, which is disposed in the housing and is configured to execute an actuation movement that can be controlled by a control contour. Moreover, the switching module includes an energy converter, which is disposed in the housing and is configured to provide an electrical pulse when powered by the actuation movement of the actuator. Furthermore, the switching module includes a switch unit for emitting a switching signal based on the electrical pulse, for indicating the switching movement of the housing.
