DEVICE FOR ADMINISTERING A FLUID
A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. The tensioning device includes a ramp which is rotatable via a motor, a ramp track, and a roller which is in contact with the ramp track and which is mounted rotatably in a driver. The device can further include a front part, which includes the cylinder and the open dispensing end, and a rear part, which includes the tensioning device. The front part and the rear part can be formed from different materials.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a housing with an inner surface structure, a delivery member cover slidably arranged in the housing, a medicament container housing arranged in the housing, a rotator configured to cooperate with the inner surface structure, the rotator being in axial engagement with the medicament container housing, wherein the delivery member cover is configured to be moved axially from an extended position relative to the housing to a retracted position, thereby causing the rotator to rotate from a first rotator position to a second rotator position, a forward-biased plunger rod extending through the rotator and having a first axial engagement position with the rotator when the rotator is in the first rotator position and in the second rotator position, wherein the rotator has an engagement structure configured to engage with the inner surface structure when the rotator is in the first rotator position to prevent forward movement of the rotator, and wherein the rotator is configured to disengage from the inner surface structure when the rotator is rotated from the first rotator position towards the second rotator position, causing the rotator, the plunger rod and the medicament container housing to move forward an auto-penetration distance in the housing.
FEEDBACK MECHANISMS
A start of medicament delivery notification mechanism is presented where the notification mechanism is positioned within a housing of a medical device and includes a rear cap secured to a distal end of the housing, where the rear cap has a hollow tubular housing extending proximally from a distal end of the rear cap such that the tubular housing is cantilevered within and rotatably fixed relative to the housing and is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the housing. A rotator rotatably is positioned around the tubular housing such that rotator can rotate relative to the tubular housing from a first position to a second position, where the second position coincides with an initiation of a delivery of a dose of medicament. The rotator further has a contact surface that engages with and subsequently disengages from a corresponding contact surface located on the rear cap or on an inside surface of the housing.
EMERGENCY AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
An automatic injection device for use with a syringe including at least one syringe piston and a needle coupled to a forward end thereof, comprising a housing element arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a forward end and a rearward end; at least one resilient element arranged to be located within the housing element; a needle shield selectably positionable with respect to the housing element; and a control unit adapted, when actuated, to be driven by the at least one resilient element for initially displacing the syringe relative to the housing element from a non-penetration position to a penetration position and thereafter displacing the at least one syringe piston in the syringe to effect drug delivery, and wherein the control unit is configured to be actuated upon axial rearward displacement of the needle shield with respect to the housing element.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR INTRAVITREAL INJECTION OF SUBSTANCES
In accordance with the purpose(s) of the present disclosure, as embodied and broadly described herein, the disclosure relates to an auto-injector device that can be used for injection of ophthalmological formulations. The auto-injector device can function in two stages, where a lubricious material is released in a first stage and a drug delivery composition is released in a second stage. The present disclosure provides for method of using these injector devices.
RECIPROCATING MIXING AND INJECTOR SYSTEM
A reciprocating medicament mixing and injector system, where the energy provided to transfer medicament components back and forth between containers or cartridges can be redirected to deliver the mixed medicament components. In one embodiment the energy source is a pressurized gas chamber, in another, it is constant force spring, and in another it is a compression spring.
Body contour adaptable autoinjector device
An injector for delivering a therapeutic product may include a base having a flexible surface that conforms to various body contours of a patient and defines one or more an injection chambers. The injector may have a height that is substantially less than its width, thereby defining a low profile, which provides a larger more stable base that can pinch or stretch the skin in a controlled manner. The larger base can also accommodate larger volumes via multiple injection chambers and/or large combined primary containers.
Prefilled drug delivery device with reduced air gap
A method of assembling a drug delivery device, comprising the steps of: inserting a piston rod in a nut portion of a cartridge assembly and rotating the piston rod until the piston rod distal end engages the cartridge piston, mounting a drive member on the piston rod in a rota-tional position being closest to a pre-determined rotational position, and rotating the drive member to the pre-determined rotational position.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAMENT DELIVERY
The present disclosure is generally directed to a delivery device housed within an outer cartridge and useful for delivering a fluid to the IO space of a subject at a relatively constant volumetric flow rate over an extended period of time. The delivery device may be fluidly coupled to an existing IO access device or IV line positioned in the IO space of the subject or may be coupled to an IO access device disposed within the outer cartridge.
Liquid injection device and assembly including same
A liquid injection device includes: a syringe that comprises a barrel part configured to be filled with a liquid, and a needle attached to a distal portion of the barrel part and configured to discharge the liquid, a cap that covers the needle; a housing that covers at least a base end part of the syringe; and a step part that is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cap or between the housing and the cap, the step part protruding farther outward than a side surface of the barrel part. The step part is configured to engage with a lower surface of a notch part that extends laterally inward from an outer edge of a flange part of a container such that the cap is removable from the housing by the notch part.
