Skin can be treated by piercing skin with a plurality of needles of an injection device and ejecting a dose of fluid therethrough. The device can include a housing, a plunger disposed in the housing, a cartridge disposed in the housing, and one or more dosing chambers. The plurality of needles can be coupled to the housing and be in fluid communication with the cartridge. Advancement of the plunger can cause a dose of fluid to be ejected from the plurality of needles.

An injector comprises a medicament container, an injection module and a driving mechanism. The injection module comprises a conversion mechanism and a needle output mechanism connected to each other. The conversion mechanism is assembled and connected to the medicament container. A driving piston set in the conversion mechanism is assembled and connected to the driving mechanism. A needle set in the needle output mechanism is used for piercing a human body. The driving mechanism drives the driving piston set to convey a medicament liquid in the medicament container to the needle set for injection, such that the medicament container and the injection module, which are related to safety and hygiene, are of single use and are disassembled and discarded after being used. The conversion mechanism is externally connected to the driving mechanism, so that the driving mechanism does not contact the injection medicament liquid during injection and can be reused, thereby reducing material waste.

Devices and methods are disclosed that provide a syringe actuator device for use in the distention and irrigation of a body conduit before the use in a medical procedure such as a coronary bypass graft procedure. The device can be retrofit to a syringe by attaching it to the cap of the plunger and engaged to automatically apply pressure to fluid in the syringe. In some embodiments, elastic bands attached to the device are easily engaged or removed from a syringe during a procedure to limit the pressure on the syringe to various levels. The device may be overridden by an operator pushing on the plunger of the syringe as in normal syringe operation.

A cap for intake and delivery of a fluid from a syringe is described. The cap includes an outer cap assembly comprising a fluid inlet path and a fluid outlet path and an inner cap assembly configured for insertion into a fluid nozzle of the syringe and to provide selective fluid communication between an interior of a syringe and the fluid inlet path or the fluid outlet path. The outer cap assembly is slidable relative to the inner cap assembly between a first filling position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet path, and a second delivery position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet path. A multiple dose syringe has a first valve defining a first valve opening pressure and a second valve defining a second valve opening pressure. A storage chamber in fluid communication with the second valve stores multiple doses of a substance therein and includes an outlet for dispensing multiple doses of the stored substance therethrough. A compression surface is movable between first and second positions and defines a compression chamber between the compression surface and the first valve. Movement of the compression surface in a direction from the first position toward the second position dispenses substance in the compression chamber through the first valve and out of the syringe. Movement of the compression surface in a direction from the second position toward the first position causes substance to flow from the storage chamber through the second valve and into the compression chamber.
