SWITCH

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a switch. The switch comprises a switching assembly comprising a switching member adapted to move between at least two positions to control an operation state of the switch; and a driving member coupled to the switching member and operable to rotate to drive a movement of the switching member; and an operating assembly separated from and detachably arranged on the switching assembly and operable to cause the driving member to rotate. By providing the switch comprising a switching assembly and an operating assembly separated from each other, any one of the switching assembly and the operating assembly can be replaced separately without changing the overall height of the switch. This significantly increases the flexibility to personalize the switch.

Remote-controlled switch cover assembly

A remote-controlled switch cover assembly is described for converting an existing rocker switch into a remote-controlled switch. The remote-controlled switch cover assembly receives a wireless signal to actuate the existing rocker switch and, in response, activates an electric motor that causes a gear train to turn in a first direction. This causes a wiper to engage an under-surface of a tilt plate located above the existing rocker switch and, in response, an opposing end of the tit plate depresses the existing rocker switch.

A key assembly for a keyboard may include a key cap that includes a touch sensor that is communicatively coupled to a control device. When the touch sensor senses a touch event, the touch sensor may send a touch signal to the control device, and when the touch sensor senses an absence of touch, the touch sensor may send a control signal to the control device. The key assembly may further include a switch that is communicatively coupled to the control device and that is movable between a pressed position and an un-pressed position. When the switch is in the pressed position, the switch may send a closed signal to the control device, and when the switch is in the un-pressed position, the switch may send an open signal to the control device. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

WALL MOUNTED CONTROL DEVICE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BUTTONS

A control device is provided adapted to control at least one function of at least one associated load. The control device comprises a front housing portion defining a plurality of button zones each comprising at least one switch and at least one button alignment orifice. The control device further comprises a plurality of interchangeable buttons, including single-zone height and multi-zone height buttons, each adapted to be removably attached to the front housing portion over one or more of the button zones. Each button may comprise a front wall and at least one projection extending from a rear surface of the button and adapted to be aligned with at least one switch of one of the button zones to depress the aligned switch when the button is pressed. Each button may further comprises at least one alignment post adapted to be aligned with and inserted through at least one alignment orifice of one of the button zones. Each button may also comprise at least one abutment extending from the rear surface of the button and adapted to abut against the front housing portion such that at least a portion of the button pivots or deflect with respect to the at least one abutment when pressed.

Remote-controlled switch cover assembly

A remote-controlled switch cover assembly is described for converting an existing rocker switch into a remote-controlled switch. The remote-controlled switch cover assembly receives a wireless signal to actuate the standard rocker switch and, in response, activates an electric motor that causes a gear train to turn in a first direction. This causes a wiper to engage an under-surface of a tilt plate located above the standard rocker switch and, in response, an opposing end of the tit plate depresses the standard rocker switch.

Operation button and operation device

An operation button includes: a body that is in a tubular shape; a top which has a light-transmitting portion and which is attached to the body at its one end; a plurality of legs that are provided at the other end of the body at intervals from each other in the circumferential direction; and a flange arranged between the one end and the other end of the body.

ROTARY INPUT DEVICE

A rotary input device includes: a rotary operating unit which has an operating tubular portion formed from a first material and rotationally operated, and a gripper formed from a second material which has more elasticity than the operating tubular portion, the gripper covering an outer surface of a one-end side of the operating tubular portion; a casing which has the rotary operating unit disposed therein rotatably about an axis of the rotary operating unit, and which has a locking portion for restricting a rotational range of the rotary operating unit; and an input unit which transmits a predetermined signal with the rotation of the rotary operating unit. The operating tubular portion further includes, on the other-end side thereof, a portion to be locked that has a rotational range restricted to a predetermined rotational angle by the locking portion. The operating tubular portion is provided with an extension portion that is formed from the second material integrally with the gripper, and that extends toward the other end of the operating tubular portion from the gripper. The extension portion has an abutting portion that covers at least a portion of the portion to be locked and abuts against the locking portion.
