Assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a body configured to receive the medical container in a fixed position relative to the body. The injection device includes a spring-loaded piston rod translationally movable inside the body along a spring axis. The injection device includes a lever pivotably mounted on the body about a first pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis at a first distance form the spring axis. The injection device includes a selective blocking system coupled to the lever by a second pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis. The lever is pivotable between a rest position. The selective blocking system engages the piston rod to prevent any translation movement of the piston rod and a second position wherein the selective blocking system releases the piston rod.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a housing, a delivery member cover slidably arranged in the housing, a medicament container housing arranged in the housing, a forward-biased rotator structure configured to move the medicament container housing in a forward direction in the housing, wherein the delivery member cover is configured to be moved axially from an extended position relative to the housing to a retracted position, thereby causing the rotator structure to rotate from a first rotator position to a second rotator position, and a forward-biased plunger rod extending axially inside the rotator structure and having a first axial engagement position with the rotator structure when the rotator structure is in the first rotator position and the second rotator position, the rotator structure having a first rotator guide track structure configured to cooperate with an inner surface structure of the housing.
Support structure
A support structure for a medicament container is disclosed that is arranged to accommodate an elongated plunger rod, where the support structure has at least one flexible element arranged to be moved in contact with, and to exert a force, on a distal end surface of the medicament container, wherein the at least one flexible element is provided with a contact member arranged to contact an outer surface of the plunger rod and to be moved out of contact with the plunger rod when moved in contact with the medicament container.
Electrical information device for communicating information related to a medicament delivery
An electrical information device configured to communicate information related to a medicament delivery performed by a medicament delivery device is presented. The device includes at least one information communication unit configured to communicate the information, and at least one power providing arrangement including at least one power source, at least one electrical switch and at least one switch lock member. The at least one switch lock member being configured to be movable in an axial direction from a first position to a second position by an axial movement of at least one triggering member of the medicament delivery device, to cause a change of state of the at least one electrical switch in the second position, thereby providing electrical power to the at least one information communication unit from the at least one power source, and to be locked in the second position, such that the change of state of the electrical switch is maintained.
EMERGENCY AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
An automatic injection device for use with a syringe including at least one syringe piston and a needle coupled to a forward end thereof, comprising a housing element arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a forward end and a rearward end; at least one resilient element arranged to be located within the housing element; a needle shield selectably positionable with respect to the housing element; and a control unit adapted, when actuated, to be driven by the at least one resilient element for initially displacing the syringe relative to the housing element from a non-penetration position to a penetration position and thereafter displacing the at least one syringe piston in the syringe to effect drug delivery, and wherein the control unit is configured to be actuated upon axial rearward displacement of the needle shield with respect to the housing element.
Auto-injectors for administration of a medicament within a prefilled syringe
An apparatus includes a housing, a carrier, and an expandable assembly. The housing defines an opening configured to selectively place a gas chamber of the housing in fluid communication with an exterior volume. The carrier is movably disposed within the housing and is coupled to a medicament container. A proximal surface of the carrier defines a portion of a boundary of the gas chamber. The expandable assembly has a first member and a second member. The first member is coupled to an elastomeric member disposed within the medicament container, and the second member includes a valve portion. The expandable assembly transitions from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration when the elastomeric member moves within the medicament container. The valve portion moves relative to the opening when the expandable assembly transitions from the first to the second configuration, placing the gas chamber in fluid communication with the exterior volume.
RECIPROCATING MIXING AND INJECTOR SYSTEM
A reciprocating medicament mixing and injector system, where the energy provided to transfer medicament components back and forth between containers or cartridges can be redirected to deliver the mixed medicament components. In one embodiment the energy source is a pressurized gas chamber, in another, it is constant force spring, and in another it is a compression spring.
Body contour adaptable autoinjector device
An injector for delivering a therapeutic product may include a base having a flexible surface that conforms to various body contours of a patient and defines one or more an injection chambers. The injector may have a height that is substantially less than its width, thereby defining a low profile, which provides a larger more stable base that can pinch or stretch the skin in a controlled manner. The larger base can also accommodate larger volumes via multiple injection chambers and/or large combined primary containers.
Injection device
An autoinjector device is provided. The autoinjector device can include an activator unit including an activation housing, an activation guard, and an activation shell such that a portion of the activation guard extends beyond a proximal end of the activation shell. The autoinjector device can include camouflage on a proximal surface to obscure a device lock hole and reduce user confusion around needle orientation.
Dual-chamber delivery device
A drug delivery device configured to provide a dose of a first medicament followed by a dose of a second medicament is disclosed. The device includes a main exterior body and an interior body. The device further includes a dual-chamber reservoir with (i) a first chamber holding the first medicament and (ii) a second chamber holding the second medicament. The device also includes a needle and a plunger. After activation of the device, the plunger is configured to (i) move the dual-chamber reservoir a given distance in a distal direction with respect to the interior body so that a distal end of the needle extends out of the interior body and (ii) after moving the dual-chamber reservoir the given distance, move in the distal direction with respect to the dual-chamber reservoir so as to eject from the needle the first medicament followed by the second medicament.
