An injection device for dispensing a product, the injection device including a moveable element which is moved for a dispensing operation, a spring, a product container holder and a product container, wherein the spring pushes against the moveable element to move the moveable element to an initial position after the dispensing operation has ended and against the product container to seat the product container in the product container holder.

A dose recording device for a drug delivery device is disclosed, wherein the drug delivery device comprises a housing, a cartridge holder configured to receive a cartridge for holding a plurality of doses of a drug, and a dose setting member connected to the housing and configured to set the dose of the drug. The dose recording device comprises a device housing, an electronic controller disposed within the device housing, and at least one identifier member configured to be mounted to the device housing. The electronic controller comprises switches. The identifier member comprises at least one actuation member configured to actuate at least one of the switches when mounted to the device housing. An actuation of the switch is configured to provide additional information on the drug.

An information carrier reader assembly is presented having a first antenna, a second antenna electrically connected to the first antenna, the first antenna attached to a first area of a medicament delivery device, where the medicament delivery device has an information carrier having a fourth antenna wherein the first antenna is positioned so as to enable transmission between the fourth and the first antenna. The information carrier reader assembly further has an information reader provided with an third antenna and being operably arranged to a second area of the medicament delivery device, wherein the second antenna is attached to the second area of the medicament delivery device, enabling a transmission between the second antenna and the third antenna.

A cassette for a medicament delivery device having a base unit is disclosed, where the cassette has a longitudinal axis defining a proximal direction and a distal direction; a body for accommodating a medicament container; a medicament delivery member; and a cap connected to the body through a connector, the cap enclosing a proximal end of the body; wherein the connector is disconnected when a distal force acting on the body in the distal direction and relative to the cap when the cassette is attached to the base unit. A medicament delivery device containing the cassette is also provided.

The present invention relates to a medicament injector including an applicator with a cartridge-accepting receptacle, and interchangeable, pre-filled medicament-containing cartridges. Each cartridge includes a barrier member having a closed position in which access to the medicament is inhibited. The barrier member is movable from the closed position to an open position, in which the medicament is accessible via the applicator for administration, when the cartridge is inserted into the receptacle. The barrier member is moves back to the closed position when the cartridge is automatically removed from the receptacle once the medication is delivered. This allows for plurality of pre-filled medicament cartridges to be selected on demand via a need-based scenario for quick assembly with the medicament injector for use in various clinical scenarios to reduce the bulk, errors, complexity, and steps in medicament delivery while increasing the versatility, safety, and speed of medicament delivery in time critical situations.

The present disclosure refers to a housing element for a drug delivery device. The housing element comprises longitudinal axis and defines an interior space for receiving components of a drive mechanism of the drug delivery device and at least a portion of a cartridge of the drug delivery device. The housing element comprises an engagement feature for axially constraining the housing element to a cartridge holder of the drug delivery device. In order to constrain the cartridge in the housing element, it further comprises at least one crush web protruding radially inwards into the interior space. The at least one crush web is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing element by at least 3 such that when the cartridge is introduced into the interior space the at least one crush web folds radially outwards.

An autoinjector for discharging one or more liquid products includes: a housing containing a multichamber product container, which includes a syringe body and an injection needle rigidly arranged at the distal end of the syringe body. The syringe body includes a first chamber for a first liquid product, a second chamber for a second liquid product, and a bypass for fluidically connecting the first chamber and second chamber. The bypass is formed in or on the syringe body in the form of a curved section protruding radially outwards, and two plungers are arranged in the syringe body in an axially movable manner.
