Universal Bus Plug
20220181095 · 2022-06-09 ·

Systems and methods provide an electrical bus plug on a busway, where the electrical bus plug is universal and configured to fit a plurality of busways. An adapter may fit on the electrical bus plug to allow the bus to properly electrically connect with the specific type of busway. Optional mounting brackets can also be removably attached to the universal electrical bus plug to permit attachment to a specific type of busway. Therefore, a single/universal electrical bus plug can be used to electrically connect to a plurality of busway types through the use of an adapter and mounting hardware that attached to the universal bus plug.

“SAVUS” a simple, low cost emergency home power connection
11309157 · 2022-04-19 ·

The embodiments of a “SAVUS” disclosed herein are simple, safe, low cost devices used to connect emergency power to an entire home. The embodiments of SAVUS are configured to install into most residential types of circuit breaker front panels and require only one available circuit breaker space for installation. SAVUS mechanically interlocks with the main circuit breaker and will not allow connection of an external power source to the circuit breaker box until utility power is turned off for safety.

The present disclosure relates to a circuit breaker equipped with an energy release device of a switching mechanism, and particularly, to a circuit breaker equipped with an energy release device that allows energy of a closing spring of a switching mechanism to be automatically discharged at the time of a withdrawal operation.

CIRCUIT BREAKER HAVING MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT COVER
20230298841 · 2023-09-21 ·

The present disclosure relates to a circuit breaker having a main circuit unit cover and, more particularly, to a circuit breaker having a removable main circuit unit cover so as to be applicable to a change in rated capacity. A circuit breaker according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a main circuit unit connected to a power source and a load; a main circuit unit cover which insulatively covers the rear surface of the main circuit unit; a main circuit unit terminal connected to the main circuit unit and exposed to the outside through the main circuit unit cover; and a terminal protection member detachably coupled to the main circuit unit cover and insulatively covering the main circuit unit terminal.

Slim circuit breaker

A circuit breaker design allows for the circuit breaker to have an overall height (i.e., measured vertically along the circuit breaker's exposed outwardly-facing surface in the typical orientation of circuit breaker panels) that is slimmer than achievable with known typical configurations, while at the same time still providing robust power (e.g., voltage) handling and arc interruption capabilities. This is achieved, for example, by providing various components formed from polymer materials (which are generally less conductive of heat than metals), reinforced by metal members in certain areas, if needed, as well as a very particular configuration of a permanent magnet that is employed for enhanced arc quenching.

APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR ATTACHING PANEL MOUNTED ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

An apparatus for attaching a panel mounted electrical component includes an L-shaped bracket. The bracket includes a horizontal member having a frontward facing edge and a rearward facing edge. The bracket further includes an opening on the horizontal member that is configured for receiving a panel mounted electrical component. A vertical member is aligned along the rearward facing edge of the horizontal member. The vertical member is integral with the horizontal member and defines a ninety-degree angle. A plurality of openings located on the vertical member are configured for receiving fasteners to attach an outward facing surface of the vertical member to a surface. The bracket also includes a lip that is vertically aligned along the frontward facing edge of the horizontal member. The lip is integral with the horizontal member and defines a ninety-degree angle.

Fixing and unlocking mechanism for plug-in type circuit breaker

A fixing and unlocking mechanism for a plug-in type circuit breaker includes a housing (1) A button (2) is mounted in a button slot (101) of the housing (1). The fixing and unlocking mechanism is characterized in that the housing (1) is provided with a locking mechanism (3) therein, so that the plug-in type circuit breaker cannot be unplugged from a mounting cabinet, and the housing (1) is further provided with an unlocking mechanism (4) therein, which can unlock the locking mechanism (3) to make the plug-in type circuit breaker is unplugged from the mounting cabinet.
