APPLICATOR TUBE
The invention regards an applicator tube for delivering a paste from a syringe, comprising: a delivery tube comprising a distal end for delivering the paste, and a valve system attached to a proximal end of the delivery tube and configured for attachment to the syringe, the valve system having a first configuration allowing aspiration of gas from the surroundings, and a second configuration allowing expression of aspirated gas into the delivery tube, such that the applicator tube is configured for transporting a volume of aspirated gas into and through the delivery tube when an attached syringe is aspirated and expressed.
OPHTHALMIC DEVICE
An ophthalmic device including a cannula having a cannula distal end, a lumen, and one or more orifices coupled to the lumen is provided. The cannula is configured to deliver a fluid. A sleeve is disposed around the cannula and has a sleeve distal end. A handle is coupled to the sleeve and the cannula, the handle having an actuator. An internal mechanism is coupled to the actuator and configured to retract the sleeve relative to the cannula. The internal mechanism includes a follower fixedly coupled to the sleeve and moveable between distal and proximal positions, and a release member movable between an activated position and a release position. The release member is coupled to the actuator and configured to release a force that urges the follower from the distal position to the proximal position when the release member moves from the activated position to the release position.
Syringe adapter with aspiration assembly
A syringe adapter includes a housing having a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end, with the housing including a connector body positioned at the first end of the housing and configured to be secured to a syringe barrel, a cannula positioned within the housing, with the cannula defining a transfer opening and a valve opening, a seal arrangement positioned within the housing and movable within the housing, and an aspiration assembly comprising an aspiration housing defining an aspiration opening, a filter received by the aspiration housing, and one-way valve received by the aspiration housing, where the valve opening of the cannula is positioned within the aspiration housing, and where air is configured to flow into the filter via the aspiration opening, into the one-way valve, and into the valve opening of the cannula.
NEEDLE-BASED DEVICE BASED ON DIRECT WING-BASED COUPLING OF A NEEDLE SHIELD TO A BARREL THEREOF AND SAFETY MECHANISM IMPLEMENTED THEREIN
A needle-based device includes a barrel as a body thereof and a needle. A portion of the needle is received within the barrel and glued thereinto to cause the needle to protrude from the barrel. The needle-based device also includes a needle shield to protect an entire length of the needle protruding from the barrel based on completely encompassing the entire protruding length of the needle in a first state of disuse of the needle-based device. The barrel includes wings on lateral sides of an outer wall thereof. The wings extend perpendicular to a length of the barrel to couple the needle shield to the barrel in the first state of disuse of the needle-based device.
NEEDLE-BASED DEVICE WITH EXTERNAL SAFETY CAP AND A NEEDLE GUIDE ELEMENT THEREOF
A method includes protecting an entire length of a needle of a needle-based device protruding from a needle mount or a body of the needle-based device in a first state of disuse thereof based on providing a needle shield encompassing the entire protruding length of the needle, and encompassing the needle shield completely in the first state of disuse with an external cap. The method also includes providing a guide element protruding inward from an end of the external cap farthest away from the needle mount or the body of the needle-based device, internal to the external cap parallel to a length of the external cap and through the needle shield such that, in the state of disuse, the guide element at least partially envelops the needle therewithin to prevent significant lateral movement of the needle and prevents the end of the external cap from touching the needle.
RELEASABLE FLUID CONTROLLER AND INSEMINATION DEVICE
Disclosed are fluid controllers configured for removable attachment to a fluid introduction device, wherein the fluid controller comprises a body configured to extend at least partially over the fluid introduction device; an orifice arranged relative to the body to facilitate transfer of a fluid from the fluid introduction device through the fluid controller; a fluid retention structure extending outwardly from at least a portion of the body, wherein the fluid retention structure is configured to engage with a wall of a vaginal canal and inhibit a flow of the fluid from the vaginal canal; and at least one connector configured to releasably attach the fluid controller to the fluid introduction device.
INTRAVITREAL INJECTOR
Provided herein are needle assemblies for intravitreal injection of an (e.g., one or more) implant(s) into an eye of a patient through an unsheathed state and a sheathed state. Such needle assemblies are precise and accurate for proper treatment and prevent further damage to the eye.
Syringe plunger finger ring structures
A syringe finger ring and finger ring inserts, that in various embodiments, provides or connects to a syringe that comprises a syringe body capable of having a volume of material therein and a plunger disposed to enter the syringe body and dispense material from the syringe body by movement of plunger, and a novel a finger ring and related structures having an open area and connected, by various structures, to the plunger adapted to receive a finger within the finger ring open area, including a spacer of various embodiments inserted within the open area to selectively reduce the open area and provide more controllable engagement of the syringe plunger by the operator finger in distal and proximal strokes.
Sterile drug dispensing system and sterile drug dispensing method
A sterile drug dispensing system, comprising: an air source output device, a handle and a drug dissolving device; the drug dissolving device is detachably mounted on the handle, the handle being connected to the air source output device by means of a power line and an air pipe, being for use in filtering gas and controlling the gas source output device; the gas source output device is used for outputting and extracting gas. A sterile drug dispensing method, which corresponds to the operating steps of the sterile drug dispensing system.
MEDICINE INJECTING TIP, HAND PIECE, AND SKIN TREATING DEVICE
Provided are a medicine injecting tip, which injects a medicine into a hole in a skin formed by a needle while invading the needle to a preset depth of a deep portion of the skin, a hand piece equipped with the medicine injecting tip, and a skin treatment device using the medicine injecting tip. The medicine injecting tip includes a cylinder, a plunger that reciprocates downward and upward, and has a first space and a second space formed inside the cylinder, and a needle disposed in the plunger and disposed in the second space of the cylinder. The needle is inserted into a skin and a negative pressure state is formed in the second space when the plunger moves downward, and the needle is discharged from the skin and a positive pressure state is formed in the second space, when the plunger moves upward.
