The present invention relates to an interlock device of a ring main unit, and more particularly, to an interlock device of a ring main unit in which a fuse cover can be closed in interlock with a cable cover. An interlock device of a ring main unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include an interlock frame provided in part of the ring main unit, a cam on part of which an engaging portion is protruded and formed and on the other part of which a slit is formed, rotatably provided within the interlock frame, an operating plate an end of which is coupled to the slit to perform a vertical movement, and a spring an end of which is fixed to part of the cam to store an elastic force due to the movement of the cam.

Fuse-Protected Electronic Photodiode Array

There is provided a photodiode array including a semiconducting substrate and a plurality of photodiodes that are disposed at a surface of the substrate. Each photodiode is laterally spaced apart from neighboring photodiodes by a lateral substrate surface region. An optical interface surface of the substrate is arranged for accepting external input radiation. A plurality of electrically conducting fuses are disposed on the substrate surface. Each fuse is connected to a photodiode in the plurality of photodiodes. Each fuse is disposed at a lateral substrate surface region that is spaced apart from neighboring photodiodes in the plurality of photodiodes.

HIGH CURRENT DISCONNECT MODULE

A fused disconnect switch may include a fuse carrier to house a fuse, an actuator configured to reversibly engage and disengage with the fuse carrier; a common trip link, mechanically coupled to move in concert with the actuator, and a contact arm, indirectly mechanically coupled to the common trip link. As such, when the fuse carrier is disposed in an engaged position, the contact arm is free to move into a closed position to make electrical contact with a fixed contact, and when the fuse carrier is in a disengage position, the contact arm is prevented from moving into the closed position.

Disconnect device with interlock mechanism

A fusible disconnect switch includes a switch housing, and a first fuse contact member and a second fuse contact member coupled to the switch housing, each of the first fuse contact member and the second fuse contact member configured to engage and complete an electrical connection through an overcurrent protection fuse. The fusible disconnect switch further includes a switch contact including a parallel contact configuration. An interlock is operatively coupled to the first fuse contact member and a switch that operates the switch contact, the interlock configured to inhibit movement of the switch from the OFF position to the ON position when the first fuse contact member is unsecured to the switch housing, and inhibit movement of the first fuse contact member relative to the switch housing when the switch is in the ON position.

MOLDED FILLER PAD FOR FUSE DEVICES

A molded filler pad for encapsulating a fuse element can include one or more collection channels and one or more molded walls. The collection channels can guide conductive particulates from the fuse element along interior walls of a fuse body housing the fuse element to control any venting of the conductive particulates. The molded walls can press against the interior walls of the fuse body to control where the conductive particulars redeposit and prevent the same from redepositing in a connected path. The collection channels and the molded walls can be molded into a single device for filling the fuse body and be formed from a material that can remain undamaged and physically intact even when exposed to pressure and heat from an electrical arc of the fuse device that is produced as the fuse element opens to interrupt a circuit.
