Compact Spacer for Metered Dose Inhaler
A spacer device for use with a metered dose inhaler (MDI). The spacer device comprises an aerosol chamber for holding the aerosolized medication sprayed from the MDI. According to one particular design, the aerosol chamber has a forward shell, a rear shell, and an extendable barrel in between. The extendable barrel comprises a flexible plastic sheath that is supported by a coiled wire spring. The spacer device further comprises a mounting bracket to hold the MDI. The mounting bracket holds the MDI such that the spray outlet of the MDI is mated with the aerosol chamber. Also, the assembly is configured such that the aerosol chamber is aligned substantially parallel to the actuator boot of the MDI. During use, the aerosol chamber is folded downward away from the MDI. The aerosol chamber is then extended outward to increase its volume.
MOUTHPIECE OF A NEBULIZER, AND PORTABLE NEBULIZER THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a mouthpiece of a nebulizer, comprising an aerosol inflow port, and an aerosol outflow port; wherein an aerosol passage is formed between the aerosol inflow port and the aerosol outflow port, such that in a normal spraying state, the aerosol enters the aerosol passage from the aerosol inflow port and is discharged from the aerosol outflow port; and at least one temporary liquid reservoir is provided inside the mouthpiece, such that when condensation of the aerosol reversely flows back towards the aerosol inflow port, at least part of the condensation of the aerosol flows back into the temporary liquid reservoir. Besides, the present disclosure further discloses a portable nebulizer adopting the mouthpiece. The present disclosure provides an advantage of causing the nebulizer to produce a better anti-backflow effect.
METERED DOSE INHALER AND SPACER WITH AIRFLOW AND HANDICAP ASSIST STRUCTURES FOR MAXIMIZING MEDICATION DELIVERY EFFECTIVENESS
A metered dose inhaler having a body for receiving a medicinal canister. A dome shaped motorized unit is attached to the main body of the inhaler. A lower mouthpiece end is in communication with an output valve of the canister for issuing an atomized medicinal spray. A plurality of apertures are defined along any of the sides or front and back walls of the body such that, upon depressing a trigger associated with the canister in combination with patient inhalation, the actuation of the motor combines results in more efficient delivery of the spray and to better direct the spray into the patient's respiratory system. A further variant incorporates a motorized cap, such as for use by handicapped individuals who may be unable to actuate the metered dose inhaler due to anatomical or physiological disabilities.
Handheld apparatus for vaporization of plant-based or synthetic compounds by laser
The present disclosure is a handheld apparatus that vaporizes plant-based or synthetic compounds, for the purpose of inhalation, or diffusion into an external environment. More specifically, the disclosure describes a handheld apparatus wherein a laser beam from an internal laser unit heats compounds, such as dried plant, tinctures, resins, or essential oils, to the compound's vaporization temperature for inhalation, or diffusion as part of aromatherapy or other holistic therapeutic treatments.
METHOD AND INHALER FOR PROVIDING TWO OR MORE SUBSTANCES BY INHALATION
Some embodiments relate to a method for providing, during a single inhalation from an inhaler, a controllable ratio between at least a first active substance and a second active substance provided from the same source material, comprising: defining a ratio between the first and second active substances to be delivered to a user; setting operation parameters in accordance with the ratio, the operation parameters including at least one of a heating profile of the source material and an airflow profile through the source material; and operating the inhaler according to the operation parameters to deliver to the user, during a single inhalation, at least the first and second active substances at the defined ratio.
CONTROLLED-DOSE MEDICINAL LIQUID VAPING DEVICE
A medicinal oil delivery device includes a liquid medicinal oil storage reservoir that stores liquid medicinal oil; a heating element that converts the liquid medicinal oil into vaporous medicinal oil; a delivery device that delivers the liquid medicinal oil to the heating element; and a mouthpiece through which a user can receive the vaporous medicinal oil. The medicinal oil delivery device may include a body that includes the heating element and a removable cartridge engageable to the device that includes the liquid medicinal oil reservoir and mouthpiece.
Electronic Cigarette With Protective Cover
An electronic cigarette device includes an elongate main body including a power supply unit, electrical circuitry and a seating for a liquid reservoir. Front and back panels are slidably attached to the elongate main body and configured to move in the longitudinal direction between an extended position and a retracted position. The panels include connectors configured to slide on rail members in a longitudinal direction. The connectors include a movable portion that is movable relative to a fixed portion, and which allows movement of the panel in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the rail members.
Dry Powder Inhaler
A dry powder inhaler for at least two capsules containing dry powder is provided, the dry powder inhaler including: At least two capsule chambers each capsule chamber for receiving one of the capsules; a mouth piece with a mouth portion comprising a distal opening; and a duct structure between the distal opening of the mouth piece and the at least two capsule chambers, wherein the duct structure comprises at least two primary ducts, wherein the distal opening of the mouth piece leads into the at least two primary ducts, and wherein each one of the at least two primary ducts leads into the corresponding one of the at least two capsule chambers.
FLOW-STOP ENABLED MOUTHPIECE, AND PORTABLE NEBULIZER THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses an aerosol inflow port, and an aerosol outflow port; wherein an aerosol passage is formed between the aerosol inflow port and the aerosol outflow port, such that in a normal spraying state, the aerosol enters the aerosol passage from the aerosol inflow port and is discharged from the aerosol outflow port, and an outflow stopper is provided on a bottom wall inner surface of the mouthpiece, and condensation of the aerosol is stopped by the outflow stopper when flowing towards the aerosol outflow port. Besides, the present disclosure further discloses a portable nebulizer adopting the mouthpiece. The present disclosure provides an advantage of effectively mitigating direct flow of the condensed aerosol into the mouth.
MOUTHPIECE WITH AN ENHANCED SPRAYING EFFECT, AND PORTABLE NEBULIZER THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a mouthpiece with an enhanced spraying effect, comprising: an aerosol inflow port, and an aerosol outflow port; wherein an aerosol passage is formed between the aerosol inflow port and the aerosol outflow port, such that in a spraying state, the aerosol enters the aerosol passage from the aerosol inflow port and is discharged from the aerosol outflow port; a main air inlet is provided at a bottom wall or a top wall of the mouthpiece, the main air inlet being in communication with the aerosol passage; and an ancillary air inlet is further provided at an opposite side of the main air inlet, the ancillary air inlet being in communication with the aerosol passage.
