INHALER DEVICE FOR INHALABLE LIQUIDS

The invention is directed to an inhaler device for inhalable liquids, in particular for the administration of inhalable volatile liquids such as halogenated volatile liquids, to a patient. According to particular embodiments, the inhaler device may include a liquid container for hermetically storing inhalable liquid; a wicking material for supporting inhalable liquid; a piercing member configured to pierce the liquid container, wherein the liquid container may be provided in a first position in which the piercing member does not engage the liquid container and inhalable liquid remains hermetically stored within the liquid container, and the liquid container may be displaced from the first position to a second position such that the piercing member pierces the liquid container to release inhalable liquid onto the wicking material, whereby during inhalation inhalable liquid vapor from the wicking material is delivered to the patient.

Disclosed herein are aspects of portable vaporizers to deliver aliquots of heated air to material in a unitary furnace. The furnace is multipurposed reducing heat loss, air leakage and delays in availability of air aliquots at the proper temperature for use. By dividing the unitary furnace with an air permeable divider and placing material in the chamber a controller selectively providing electrical power to a heating element configured to heat air in at least an upper region of the unitary furnace. Upon application of suction to the fluid passage heated air passes into the material and vaporizes organic oils in the material and said heating a volume of air inside a unitary furnace vaporized material can be withdrawn from the fluid passage.

SYSTEM FOR MANAGING INHALANT AND BREATH ANALYSIS DEVICES
20220401361 · 2022-12-22 ·

A computer-based system for receiving, analyzing, processing, managing and sending personal health information, and other information in conjunction with use of one or more personal nebulizer or vaporizing devices and personal breath analysis devices. System devices include a personal nebulizer or vaporizing unit with a mouthpiece, which may be detachable and replaceable. The mouthpiece includes an orifice through which vapor is emitted. The substance to be vaporized is contained in an ampoule inserted into the device, where the substance enters an atomization chamber where vaporization is achieved through piezoelectric transducers or atomizers providing sonic or ultrasonic vibration. The substance includes a variety of therapeutic, homeopathic, or naturopathic formulations, remedies, or serums.

COMPACT ATOMIZER
20220401663 · 2022-12-22 ·

The present invention comprises a compact atomizer that substantially encapsulates a standard inhalant canister and allows for in-line dispensing through a mouthpiece formed in an actuating cover. The compact atomizer comprises an actuating cover and housing that cooperate to secure the canister. By compressing the actuating cover and housing together, a nozzle of the canister is depressed to release a portion of substance within the canister. Compression is enabled by an actuation surface formed in the actuating cover. Substance is released in-line with the canister through a mouthpiece at the end of the actuating cover. The result is a small, compact, yet attractive atomizer that can be carried in a pocket or the like while keeping the canister free of debris.

DRY POWDER INHALER WITH AN ADHERENCE/COMPLIANCE MONITOR

A dry powder inhaler and an adherence and/or compliance monitor for use with the inhaler are provided. The inhaler has a cover which is pivotable relative to its housing in order to expose a mouthpiece. The monitor has one or more sensors. The inhaler and the monitor have formations for mounting the monitor onto the inhaler. The inhaler and monitor are designed so that when the monitor is mounted onto the housing of the inhaler and the cover is opened, the cover at least partially covers and protects the monitor.

Case for a vapor provision device

A case for a cartridge for a vapor provision device is configured such that opening the case involves a coordinated action using both hands. In some implementations, the case includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion which come together to contain and enclose the cartridge when the case is shut and separate to open the case to allow access to the cartridge.

Blister pack and inhaler comprising the same

Provided is a blister pack for a dry powder inhaler configured to deliver a first powder medicament and a second powder medicament different from the first powder medicament. The first and second powder medicaments are contained within blister pockets defined in a strip. A series of blister pockets is defined in the strip, which series extends linearly along the length of the strip. The first and second powder medicaments are contained in blister pockets of the series. Alternatively or additionally, each of the blister pockets is elongated such as to have a largest dimension parallel with the length of the strip. These measures, either individually or in combination, enable minimizing of the width of the strip in spite of the strip accommodating both the first and second powder medicaments.
