The switch opening may house or receive a dome switch for the keyboard assembly and the light source recess may house or receive a light source assembly configured to illuminate a keycap of the keyboard assembly. The switch housing also can include a top panel integrally formed and molded to a portion of the body. The top panel covers the switch opening formed in the body and the top panel is a light guide.
SCISSOR STRUCTURE FOR KEY OF KEYBOARD
A scissor structure for a key of a keyboard includes an inner scissor and an outer scissor, wherein the inner scissor is fixedly connected with the outer scissor through an elastic connecting pin; when the key is pressed, the inner scissor and the outer scissor are pressed therewith, and drive the elastic deformation of the connecting pin; when the key is loosened, the inner scissor and the outer scissor are restored to an initial state under the elastic restoring force of the connecting pin, so as to transmit the key.
Push switch
A push switch includes a casing, an operation body movable into and out of the casing, and a switch element operable with the movement of the operation body into and out of the casing. The casing includes a first outer peripheral wall, a first inner peripheral wall, a first guide provided to the first outer peripheral wall, and a second guide provided to the first inner peripheral wall. The operation body includes a second outer peripheral wall, a second inner peripheral wall, a first engagement portion provided to the second outer peripheral wall and slidably engaged with the first guide, and a second engagement portion provided to the second inner peripheral wall and slidably engaged with the second guide. A clearance between the second guide and the second engagement portion is smaller than a clearance between the first guide and the first engagement portion.
KEYCAP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a keycap is provided, including the steps of: performing a first shot for injection-molding a first plastic layer which includes a planar face, a back face opposite to the planar face, a closed loop protrusion on the planar face and at least one passage communicating an interior and an exterior of the closed loop protrusion; performing a second shot for injection-molding a second plastic layer which is disposed on the first plastic layer, is different from the first plastic layer in color, includes an inner part within the closed loop protrusion, an outer part outside the closed loop protrusion and a connection portion connected with the inner and outer parts through the at least one passage; removing a part of the connection portion to expose a part of the first plastic layer from the back face of the first plastic layer.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING COMPONENT MOUNTING STRUCTURE THROUGH BENDED DISPLAY
An electronic device and its operating method are provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface in a spaced apart manner, and a lateral surface surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface, a display mounted to the housing and including a flat area substantially corresponding to the first surface and a bending area extended from the flat area in a direction of the lateral surface, a filler disposed between the housing and the bending area of the display, at least one electronic component which is installed to the filler and of which one part is exposed to the outside by penetrating at least one region of the bending area of the display, a detection circuit disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the electronic component to detect an operation of the electronic component, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the detection circuit and the display to provide control to perform a corresponding function of the electronic device on the basis of a provided detection signal.
KEY STRUCTURE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND KEYBOARD DEVICE USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a key structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The key structure includes a keycap made of a first material and a graphics made of a second material. A part of the graphics is filled in a groove that extends downwards from an upper surface of the keycap, and an other part of the graphics is exposed outside the groove for press, and the graphics is molded by means of a resin dispensing process. In addition, the present invention further provides a keyboard devices that applies the foregoing key structure.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a manipulating member extending in first directions and having a portion serving as a pressable portion which is pressed by a user, the manipulating member being elastically deformable such that the pressable portion is movable in second directions transverse to the first directions; a light source; and a light guide member configured to receive light from the light source, the light guide member extending in the first directions and being disposed along the manipulating member, the light guide member being separate from the manipulating member. The manipulating member is made of a light-transmissive material and is caused to glow by the light received from the light guide member.
Dome switch and switch housing for keyboard assembly
A dome switch utilized in a keyboard assembly is disclosed. The keyboard assembly may include a printed circuit board having a first electrical connector formed in the printed circuit board, and a second electrical connector formed in the printed circuit board adjacent the first electrical connector. The keyboard assembly may also include an inner contact component contacting the second electrical connector of the printed circuit board. The inner contact component may be in electrical communication with the second electrical connector of the printed circuit board. Additionally, the keyboard assembly can include a dome switch surrounding the inner contact component. The dome switch may contact and may be in electrical communication with the first electrical connector of the printed circuit board.
Operating member, and method of manufacturing operating portion of operating member
An operating member includes: a body portion; an operating portion connected to the body portion; an engaging portion arranged in the body portion; an engaged portion arranged in the operating portion, and engaged with the engaging portion to connect the body portion and the operating portion; a piece portion arranged in a back surface portion of the operating portion and protruding toward the body portion; a piece-portion hole arranged in the body portion, into which the piece portion is inserted; and a protruding portion made of an elastic material, arranged in the piece portion, protruding from a side of the piece portion, and press-contacting an edge portion of the piece-portion hole when the piece portion is inserted into the piece-portion hole.
