VISUAL LARYNGEAL MASK

The present invention provides an improved visual laryngeal mask comprising a tube, an end of the tube is provided with a fixing seat. The fixing seat is provided with an airbag, and the fixing seat has a recess which is provided with an airway opening. An imaging cavity extends longitudinally inside an inner wall of the tube. The imaging cavity has a built-in imaging device, and the imaging cavity protrudes forward relative to the airway opening to form a stopper which prevents an epiglottis from blocking the imaging device. A front end of the stopper is concaved to form a recess, and an opening of the imaging cavity is located at a low point of the recess.

Oral airway devices comprising a tubal body formed by a wall which has a length between a distal end and a proximal end, the tubal body being curved into an arch, the wall having two hollow channels which are passages in the tubal body, a first channel and a second channel, wherein the two channels are laterally aligned, wherein the first channel is the passage located peripherally in the tubal body and wherein the second channel is the passage located centrally or substantially centrally in the tubal body and is compatible with a camera insertable and removable from the second channel; and wherein the tubal body does not comprise an endotracheal tube (ETT) lumen.

Intubation System and Method of Use

A surgical system includes an endotracheal system and intubation system. The intubation system includes an introducer rod and intubation instrument. The intubation instrument includes: an esophageal tube, intubation tube, endoscopic camera tube, and balloon located distally beyond a distal end of the intubation tube. The introducer rod is insertable through the intubation tube to a position where an endoscopic camera in the endoscopic camera tube has a line of sight to a distal end of the introducer rod. The balloon is movable from a deflated condition to an inflated condition in which the balloon fully occludes the esophageal opening to block advancement of the introducer rod into the esophagus and urge the introducer rod into the trachea. The intubation tube is removable from the patient leaving behind the introducer rod, such that the introducer rod is guides an endotracheal tube of the endotracheal system into the patient's trachea.

Respiratory mask with nasogastric tube path

A respiratory mask can be used to provide therapy to patients who also require a nasogastric (NG) tube. The mask seal can include a path that is designed to deform around an NG tube or other without lifting the mask away from a patient's face. The deforming path can help to minimize gaps that form between the patient's face and the mask seal as a result of the tube, thus reducing leaks and improving the efficacy of the treatment.

APPLIANCE FOR ENTERAL NUTRITION

A larynx mask is provided that comprises a dorsal cover plate with an inflatable cuff integrally formed thereon and a tube connecting connector having an insertion section for connecting to an insertion tube. Two separate lumens are provided in the region of the insertion section, these being the esophageal lumen and a respiration lumen. These two lumens are separated from each other by a separating and supporting, wall. The separating and supporting wall extends from the insertion section to the tip of the larynx mask. While the esophageal lumen opens into an esophageal outlet at the proximal end of the mask, the respiration lumen opens in the ventral direction and is closed in the proximal direction close to the tip of the mask. Such a larynx mask is produced in one piece by way of injection of molding and is reinforced by the separating or supporting wall to prevent kinking.

A device for maintaining an airway in a patient includes a mask having a portion that forms a seal with the larynx when the mask is positioned in the laryngo pharynx to thereby prevent ingress of extraneous fluids into the larynx, includes an airway tube connected to or formed with the mask for passing gas to the larynx when the mask is properly inserted into the laryngo pharynx. The mask includes a proximal portion adapted to collapse or compress so that a proximal ventral part of the mask can move relatively towards a dorsal part of the mask during insertion of the mask. This facilitates insertion of the mask into the patient.
