Gas discharge lamp
The present design includes a gas discharge lamp having a base, a closed top cylindrical envelope fixedly mounted to the base, the closed top cylindrical envelope comprising an integrally formed partition defining a pair of openings on opposite sides of the partition, and two electrodes positioned proximate the base, each electrode on an opposite side of the partition. Sides of the partition contact the closed top cylindrical envelope and the partition includes a notch formed proximate an upper edge of the partition thereby establishing an exclusive gas passageway between the pair of openings.
FAST START DIMMABLE RF INDUCTION LAMP
A dimmable induction RF fluorescent lamp comprising a dimming circuit enabling the induction RF fluorescent lamp to dim in response to a signal from an external dimming circuit, and having a main mercury amalgam having a vapor pressure at room temperature which is higher than the vapor pressure of the mercury amalgam formed on the flag.
UV mercury low-pressure lamp with amalgam deposit
An ultraviolet mercury low-pressure amalgam lamp includes a tube having a first end and a second end, a first electrode placed in the first end of the tube, and a second electrode placed in the second end of the tube, whereby when the lamp is energized a discharge path is formed between the first and second electrodes. At least one amalgam deposit is adjacent to one of the first and second electrodes out of the discharge path between the first and second electrodes. The tube has at least one constriction, wherein the at least one amalgam deposit is placed behind the constriction with respect to the discharge path such that the at least one amalgam deposit is protected by the constriction from the heat emitted by the electrodes.

Fast start fluorescent light bulb
An RF fluorescent lamp, comprising a bulbous vitreous portion of the RF fluorescent lamp comprising a vitreous envelope filled with a working gas mixture, a power coupler to induce an alternating electric field within the vitreous envelope, an electronic ballast, and a mercury amalgam accommodating structure mounted within the lamp envelope and adapted to absorb power from the electric field to rapidly heat and vaporize an amalgam of mercury to rapidly illuminate the lamp envelope during a turn-on phase of the RF fluorescent lamp, wherein the structure is comprised of a substrate material coated with a mixture of indium and gold.
ELECTRICAL POTENTIAL ENERGY TO ELECTRICAL KINETIC ENERGY CONVERTER, OZONE GENERATOR, AND LIGHT EMITTER
Embodiments of the present invention describe electrical potential energy to electrical kinetic energy converters, ozone generators, and light emitters. A system for energy conversion from electrical potential energy to electrical kinetic energy may include a discharge device and a power supply. The power supply can be coupled with the discharge device, and supplies energy to the discharge device to form an initial electric field. The discharge device may further include at least two electrodes that are either mesh electrodes or wire-array electrodes. Furthermore, a space between the at least two electrodes is filled with a gas medium and an electric field is created by the power supply in a normal direction relative to planes formed by the elements of electrodes.
