ROLLING SLEEVE FOR AN ENDOLUMINAL SHAFT
The present disclosure describes a rolling sleeve having a malleable body. The rolling sleeve is configured to protect an endoluminal shaft from surrounding tissue during insertion, navigation, and/or treatment within a body lumen.

A medical instrument includes a first elongated member including: a fluid lumen through which a fluid is flowable, an aperture opening located in a distal end surface of the first elongated member; a second elongated member including: an insertion lumen in which the first elongated member is insertable, and a discharge section through which the fluid can be discharged; and a movement section configured to form a seal between the first elongated member and the second elongated member in a state where the first elongated member is disposed in the insertion lumen of the second elongated member, the movement section being configured to allow the first elongated member and the second elongated member to move relative to each other such that the discharge section of the second elongated member is positionable on a distal side of the aperture of the first elongated member.
METHODS FOR TOPOSCOPIC SLEEVE DELIVERY
Elongate flexible medical devices can be capable of axial elongation through the mechanism of eversion or toposcopic expansion. In general, this may be accomplished by providing a flexible tubular device having a proximal end and a distal end. Retraction of the distal end in a proximal direction through the tubular body inverts the tube upon itself, causing an axial shortening of the overall length of the device. An original length of the device can be restored by coupling a pressurized media to the proximal end of the sleeve. If the distal end of the sleeve is temporarily restricted or closed, the pressurized media causes the distal end of the sleeve to travel distally until the full length of the sleeve has been restored.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE CATHETER
Minimally invasive catheter relates to the field of eversible catheters. It is primarily intended for use as a urinary catheter, but is also usable in other fields. As a urinary catheter this minimally invasive catheter 1 used as an indwelling or intermittent catheter with transurethral or suprapubic approach. This catheter has specific technical solution for eversible motion where tubular membrane 2, attached between distal part 36a of the handle 36 and distal part 3a of the inner tube 3, can in one case free slide between these two parts and in another be fixed to form hermetically sealed space 14. Free sliding of membrane ensures eversible principle of motion during placement and withdrawal of the catheter 1. Fixation of membrane allows a formation of hermetically sealed space 14 with fluid to make catheter surface smoother and softer, and a balloon 33 to hold catheter 1 in place for prolonged period of time. Thus, present invention provides a urinary catheter that enables the reduced incidence of complications arising due to its application.
Catheter tube
A catheter that has a catheter tube everting inside-out during the process of catheterization. The catheter tube has a plurality of longitudinal protrusions extending from the first end of the catheter tube through at least a portion of the catheter tube, and forming an angle of 0 degrees to 45 degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the catheter tube and facing radially inwards, and provides for dilating a circumference of the catheter tube upon everting the catheter tube inside-out from the first end of the catheter tube.
Rotary debulking atherectomy device with a crossing balloon
An atherectomy system that utilizes an anchoring balloon with a rotary debulker and a crossing balloon to remove or debulk lesions formed on the interior wall surface of a body vessel. The system may include a first balloon coupled to a first tubular member, a rotary debulker coupled to a second tubular member, a second balloon coupled to both the third tubular member and the axially moveable fourth tubular member such that the second balloon is disposed inside the third tubular member. Methods for operating this device are also provided.
FRICTIONLESS CATHETER
A catheter (700) includes a tubular member (702) having a lumen and an outer surface, a sleeve (704) configured to be positioned in the lumen in a retracted configuration and to evert over at least a portion of the outer surface in an everted configuration, and a filament (700) configured to retract the sleeve (702) into the retracted configuration. The catheter includes an aperture (774) proximal of a distal end, where the filament (770) extends through the aperture (774) from the lumen. A pull member (772) may be on a distal end of the filament (770). The filament (770) may be looped, coiled, and/or bunched in the catheter (700) when the sleeve (704) is in the retracted configuration. A shuttle (718) may be attached to a distal end of the sleeve (704), where the shuttle (718) includes a tubular member configured to maintain patency of the sleeve (704), and the filament (770) engages the shuttle (718) to retract the sleeve (704) into the lumen.
Eversible catheter with minimal rubbing friction
A flexible, polymer sleeve is provided that is everted into a body passageway in such a manner as to exert minimal rubbing friction on the internal walls of such passageway. The sleeve is housed within a tube assembly comprising a posterior tube that telescopingly slides into an insertion tube. The sleeve everts over the insertion tube, upon forward pressure applied thereon, as it extends forward into a body passageway, and consequently, causes the posterior tube to retract into the insertion tube. Multiple tubes can be telescoped to support the polymer sleeve and to keep a passageway open for the expelling of urine or body fluids, the insertion of tools, sanitation/antibacterial substances, or for the flow of liquids through the sleeve. The insertion tube can be locked in reference to the sleeve to prevent unintended removal of catheter assembly. Sleeve and tubing are removed by reversing the insertion and eversion movements.
Apparatus and method for everting catheter for IUD delivery and placement in the uterine cavity
An everting balloon system is disclosed that can be used for the placement of an IUD within the uterine cavity of a female patient. The everting balloon system with IUD can be used to access a uterine cavity at specific locations in the fundus. A one-handed IUD delivery system for placement with an everting catheter is disclosed. An IUD loading system for placement within an everting catheter is disclosed. The everting catheter with an IUD can simplify the process of IUD placement within the uterine cavity.
