20170326338 · 2017-11-16 ·

A fastener for securing a medical or surgical line with respect to a patient, the fastener comprising: an elongate braided tubular sleeve for receiving the line therethrough, the sleeve having a variable length and being capable when lengthened of gripping the line, an attachment arrangement for attaching the sleeve to the patient, and a sensor mounted to the fastener, the sensor being arranged to sense at least one of a physiological parameter of the patient and a parameter in relation to the line.

Anal fixation device

Anorectal diagnostic procedures are oftentimes carried out with the patient laying in the left decubitus position, which leads to non-representative response to test maneuvers due to the unnatural position and patient anxiety. Devices spanning, or fastened on, the interglutial cleft of a patient allow for a more natural patient position and eliminate non-representative responses.

A reusable quick release tracheostomy collar or band is provided. The tracheostomy collar or band comprises three quick releases so that the tracheostomy collar or band can be quickly removed or freed up such that a tracheostomy tube may be quickly removed. The tracheostomy collar or band includes two chain portions. Each chain portion carries a hook to attach to flanges on the tracheostomy tube. Each hook engages an aperture in a corresponding one of the flanges. In addition, the two chains are connected together at their opposite ends with a hook and catch. The tracheostomy collar or band is of hypoallergenic material.

TUBE FIXATION DEVICE
20170246435 · 2017-08-31 ·

A tube fixation device (1) for maintaining a tube (2) inserted into a mammalian body in a releasably fixated position, said tube fixation device (1) comprising: a tube receiving element (3) configured to receive said tube (2); a fastening element (4) arranged in connection to said tube receiving element (3) and wherein said fastening element (4) is configured to releasably fixate said tube (2) when said tube (2) is arranged in said tube receiving element (3); and a supportive element (5) attached to said tube receiving element (3) and configured to be positioned on a surface area of said mammalian body, characterized in that the supportive element (5) comprises a layered structure (16), wherein said layered structure comprises at least a ductile layer (20) comprising a ductile material, wherein the ductile layer is configured to be shapeable by the practitioner to conform to a three-dimensional shape of said surface area on said mammalian body.

TISSUE-CAPTURED ANCHORS AND METHODS OF USE

Devices, systems and methods are provided for anchoring implantable medical devices to maintain an implanted position. In some embodiments, the medical devices are stimulation leads which are implanted near a portion of the neural anatomy for providing stimulation thereto. To maintain position of the lead, the lead is anchored with the use of a tissue-captured anchor which is attached to the lead at a desired point of anchoring. The anchor maintains position of the lead by resisting movement of the anchor between tissue layers at the point of anchoring.

Clip for urinary drainage system

A clip retains tapered connector members which joining tubing sections of a medical fluid drainage system, such as a urinary collection system. The clip has first and second ends configured to bear against external flanges projecting from the tapered connector members. A central body of the clip applies a controllable compression force to the first and second ends for urging the connector members together. The first and second ends include sub-fingers for snapping onto a respective one of the tapered connector members.

Catheter securement device

A device for securing a catheter, or similar flexible medical tube or medical device to the skin of a patient. The device comprises a planar body (1) at least a lock retainer (5) and a passive retainer (6), both spaced-apart from each other. Furthermore a method of securing a catheter to a patient using a device as described.

Stabilizing device having a locking collet

A medical article, such as a catheter hub, is stabilized on a patient with a retainer having a base and clamp or moveable collet. A lever is configured to move the collet in a longitudinal direction relative to the based to secure the medical article to the retainer. When rotated, the lever pulls the collet in a direction away from the patient while collapsing the collet around at least a portion of the catheter hub.

Stabilization device, system, and methods thereof for integrated catheters

A stabilization device for integrated catheters can include a platform, a pair of catheter fasteners on the platform, and a pair of stabilization wings extending from the platform. The platform can include a skin-facing side and catheter-securing side of the platform. The pair of catheter fasteners can be on the catheter-securing side of the platform. The catheter fasteners can be configured to secure a hub of an integrated catheter having an extension port. The pair of stabilization wings can extend from a transverse axis of the platform. The stabilization wings can be configured to mitigate rotation of the integrated catheter about a longitudinal axis thereof when the integrated catheter is secured by the catheter fasteners on the platform and the stabilization device is adhered to a patient. A method for stabilizing integrated catheters can include securing an integrated catheter and adhering the stabilization device to a patient's skin.

Interlocking low profile gripping device
