Skin contact material
A substrate based skin contact material formed from a hydrocolloid having a silicone based component extending over regions of the substrate surface. The adhesive is formed non-continuously over the substrate to provide areas devoid of adhesive to allow appreciable moisture transfer between the skin and substrate and improve the skin friendliness of the material during use and allow convenient removal with avoidance of skin irritation.
Vascular access connector support device, systems, and methods
A catheter system may include a catheter adapter, which may include a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending through the distal end and the proximal end. The catheter system may include a connector coupled to the proximal end of the catheter adapter. The connector may include a T-connector. The catheter system may include a connector support device, which may be wedge-shaped to support the connector at an insertion angle.
A SANITARY DRESSING
A sanitary dressing for protecting a portion of a catheter protruding from a patient body through a skin entry site is provided. The sanitary dressing comprises a proximal zone to be arranged on a primary dressing which is in contact with patient skin, a distal zone and an intermediate zone between the proximal and distal zones, thereby forming a sheath for receiving the portion of the catheter. The proximal zone comprises an adhesive compatible with polyurethane for enabling repositioning of the sanitary dressing on the primary dressing.
FIXATION MEANS FOR MEDICAL PERFORATION DEVICES
The present invention relates to means for fixating catheters (24), which are used in healthcare and in particular to means for fixating such catheters to a support (1).
TUBE SECUREMENT SYSTEM
The disclosed tape system comprises a first tape and second tape each with an adhesive that interact to secure a device such as tubing. The first tape and second tape each have a longitudinally extending midsection and laterally extending legs. The first tape overlaps the device, while the second tape is under the device, but with the legs of the second tape overlapping the legs of the first tape. This overlapping connection of the first tape and second tape strongly secures the tubing.
Automatic cannulating machine
The invention relates to a cannulation robot for the automated affixing of a cannula to a patient. The cannulation robot comprises a fixing apparatus for affixing the cannula to the patient by means of an adhesive carrier. The cannulation robot comprises a positioning device designed to position a cannula holder of the cannula to an area of the patient's skin. The cannulation robot comprises an actuator device for a guide means, wherein the guide means is designed to guide the adhesive carrier to said skin area. The actuator device is designed to activate the guide means and thereby move the adhesive carrier by means of the guide means toward the skin area, wherein the adhesive carrier contacts the skin area as a result of the movement and adheres to same as well as is disposed such that it is connected to the cannula at least after being adhered.
Catheter system with remote instrument delivery
In some embodiments, a catheter system may include a catheter adapter having a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending there between. In some embodiments, the catheter system may also include a catheter extending distally from the distal end of the catheter adapter, an extension tube, and a connector coupled to a proximal end of the extension tube. In some embodiments, a distal end of the extension tube may be coupled to the proximal end of the catheter adapter. In some embodiments, the connector, the extension tube, the lumen, and the catheter may form a straight pathway for delivery of an instrument to the catheter system. In some embodiments, an extension set for a catheter assembly may include the extension tube, the connector coupled to the proximal end of the extension tube, and another connector coupled to the distal end of the extension tube.
Protective Drape For a Medical Procedure and Method of Use
A protective drape for a medical procedure may include a protective sheet including an interior surface, an exterior surface, a first end, a second end, a first side, and a second side. A first flap is coupled to the interior surface of the protective sheet so as to form a pocket at the first end of the protective sheet. The first flap includes an outer edge positioned away from the second end of the protective sheet and connected to the protective sheet, and a first lateral edge that is connected to the protective sheet so as to form a sealed periphery of the pocket that extends over the outer edge and a first lateral edge of the first flap.
COVER FOR DRUG DELIVERY TUBE DEVICE AND DRUG DELIVERY TUBE DEVICE SET INCLUDING SAME
The cover for a drug delivery tube device according to a disclosed embodiment is configured to define an insertion space having an opening formed on a lower side thereof so that the drug delivery tube device having a capillary flow path configured to allow a drug solution to flow therethrough is capable of being inserted into the opening. The cover includes a cover body extending along a circumference of the insertion space around a center axis perpendicular to an upper-lower direction.
SECUREMENT DEVICE FOR A PROTRUDING ORAL OR NASAL DEVICE
A securement device for a protruding oral or nasal device includes a continuous strip extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The continuous strip has a first anchor portion at the first end, a second anchor portion at the second end, a first bridge portion, a second bridge portion, and an adhesive for affixing the strip to a patient. The first bridge portion is disposed between the first anchor portion and the second bridge portion, the second bridge portion is disposed between the first bridge portion and the second anchor portion, the second bridge portion extends at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis. The first anchor portion and the second anchor portion are offset from one another relative to the longitudinal axis.
