INFUSION DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING
The present disclosure provides systems and devices for combining analyte monitoring with fluid delivery, including devices that are adapted for use with combined sensors and cannulas having sensors and cannulas on a single component. These systems and devices may be used in various applications with simultaneous in vivo monitoring of analyte concentrations and delivery of medications.
Interlocking low profile gripping device
A low profile gripping device having a locking assembly attached to a base, wherein the locking assembly comprises a locking strap with pairs of fins disposed for insertion into an aperture of a buckle. The locking assembly comprises an offset anchor block having opposing sides, the locking strap attached to one side, and the buckle attached to the opposing side. The interface between the locking strap and the anchor block forms a groove for seating a flexible polymer tube or polymer coated cable. The groove is located above the base such that the seated tube or cable is substantially centered above the base. The locking strap is inserted through the aperture to secure the tube or cable in the groove, and the fins retain the locking strap in fixed relation to the buckle.
INTERLOCKING LOW PROFILE GRIPPING DEVICE
A low profile gripping device having a locking assembly attached to a base, wherein the locking assembly comprises a locking strap with pairs of fins disposed for insertion into an aperture of a buckle. The locking assembly comprises an anchor block having opposing sides, the locking strap attached to one side, and the buckle attached to the opposing side. The interface between the locking strap and the anchor block forms a creased groove for seating a flexible polymer tube or polymer coated cable. The locking strap is inserted through the aperture to secure the tube or cable in the creased groove, and the fins retain the locking strap in fixed relation to the buckle.
Catheter insertion site plug
The present invention provides a catheter site insertion plug composed of a body that includes an upper surface, a lower surface and a protruding portion extending from the lower surface. The protruding portion of the body forms a frustum having a terminus and defines a passageway extending from an opening at the upper surface to an exit orifice at the terminus of the frustum. The passageway is configured to receive a catheter therethrough. The lower surface may include a second protruding portion in the form of an annular ring around the first protruding portion. The first protruding portion may include an end section that extends radially outward to provide an inflection point generally adjacent the terminus of the frustum. The end section may extend outward to provide at least one radial edge. The present invention also provides a catheter system composed of a flexible catheter and catheter site insertion plug.
FIXING DEVICE FOR FIXING A CATHETER ASSEMBLY TO A PATIENT
A device for fixing a catheter assembly to a patient has a receiving unit for connection to a skin surface of the patient. A receiving recess is arranged on the receiving unit to receive a portion of the catheter assembly. A closure unit is movable relative to the receiving recess between an opened state, in which the receiving recess is open for receipt and/or removal of the portion of the catheter assembly, and a closed state, in which the receiving recess is at least partially closed by the closure unit. The closure unit is joined non-releasably to the receiving unit. The receiving unit, at least in part, has shape elasticity such that the closure unit is movable between the opened state and the closed state by elastic deformation of the receiving unit. The device can be used in infusion therapy.
Injection port dressing assembly
An injection port dressing assembly for covering an injection port in a patient includes a dressing that is positionable around an injection port in a patient to inhibit bacteria from accessing the injection port. The dressing has a tube opening therein to accommodate an injection tube from the injection port. A dome is provided and the dome is coupled to the dressing to cover the injection port when the dressing is placed on the patient. The dome is comprised of a translucent material to facilitate the injection port to be visible through the dome. An adhesive layer is coupled to the dressing to adhesively engage the patient's skin.
INSERTING MEMBER FIXING DEVICE
This device is an inserting member fixing device to fix a linear inserting member to an insertion target, the inserting member fixing device comprising: a main body; a chuck portion; an inner sealing portion to be brought into close contact with an outer periphery of the inserting member; an inserting member supporting portion to support the inserting member; and a movement restricting portion to restrict movement of the inner sealing portion and the inserting member supporting portion. The inserting member supporting portion and the inner sealing portion are provided adjacent to each other in an axial direction of the inserting member, and a space is provided between the inserting member supporting portion and the inner sealing portion so that a main body-side end portion of the inserting member supporting portion is displaceable when the inserting member swings.
Tracheostomy tube with filleted flange
Various embodiments of a tracheostomy tube having neck flanges with filleted ends are provided. In certain embodiments, the neck flange may include a fillet extending from a bottom surface of the neck flange to a tip of the neck flange. In addition, the filleted end may also be tapered from a top surface of the neck flange to the tip of the neck flange. The neck flange may also include several curved edges, such as curved edges from the tip of the neck flange to side surfaces of the neck flange, and a curved bottom surface from side surface to side surface of the neck flange.
Stabilization devices for vascular access and methods of using the same
A stabilization device configured to stabilize an access device when a distal end portion of the access device is inserted through a target location of a patient. The stabilization device includes a coupling surface, a proximal surface, and a base surface. The coupling surface is configured to be placed in contact with an adapter coupled to a proximal end portion of the access device. The proximal surface forms at least one angle and is configured to facilitate securement of the stabilization device to the target location. The base surface forms a contoured portion configured to be placed in contact with the target location and a recessed portion configured to be spaced apart from the target location. The stabilization device is configured to be secured to the target location such that the adapter is retained in a fixed position relative to the coupling surface and the access device is stabilized.
DELIVERY CATHETER HANDLE AND METHODS OF USE
Methods, devices, and systems are provided for performing endovascular repair of atrioventricular and other cardiac valves in the heart. A delivery device for staged deployment of an implantable device to a target area. The delivery device includes a deployment handle and one or more lock lines extending from the deployment handle through the catheter to the implantable device, the one or more lock lines being configured to engage with the implantable device to allow locking of the implantable device.
