SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENDOVASCULARLY ACCESSING A SUBARACHNOID SPACE
Systems and methods for implanting an endovascular shunt in a patient is disclosed. The system having an expandable anchor configured for being deployed in a dural venous sinus of a patient at a location distal to a curved portion of a wall of an inferior petrosal sinus (IPS) of the patient; an elongate guide member coupled to, and extending proximally from, the anchor; a shunt delivery catheter having a first lumen configured to receive the guide member, and a second lumen extending between respective proximal and distal openings in the shunt delivery catheter, the shunt delivery catheter further having a penetrating element coupled to a distal end of the catheter; and the system further having a guard at least partially disposed over, and movable relative to, the penetrating element.

CATHETER SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL PROCEDURES USING CATHETERS
An intracranial intervention system comprises a seeker wire and delivery catheter used to navigate and access a target location within the intracranial subarachnoid spaces (ISAS) of a patient. A microcatheter is then advanced through the delivery catheter to perform a therapeutic procedure, such as installing a shunt within the ISAS to drain cerebral-spinal fluid (CSF). The shunt may be configured to drain CSF from a first and second ISAS, and includes a distal portion which extends into the first ISAS via the second ISAS and a dural venus sinus (DVS) of the patient. The shunt has a main body portion positioned and secured within the second ISAS, a distal portion extending into the first ISAS and the main body portion in the second ISAS have CSF intake opening which allow CSF to flow into a shunt lumen and out through an outflow opening positioned in the DVS.
Assembly-type device for treatment of tricuspid regurgitation
An assembly-type device for the treatment of tricuspid regurgitation is proposed. The assembly-type device includes: a fixing member for the pulmonary artery, the fixing member installed in the pulmonary artery; a connecting tube provided with a connecting tube lumen formed therein to be movable along a connecting wire; an assembly part provided with a first assembly coupled to a lower end of the fixing member for the pulmonary artery and a second assembly coupled to an upper end of the connecting tube, wherein the fixing member for the pulmonary artery and the connecting tube are assembled together; a fixing member for inferior vena cava, the fixing member coupled to a lower end of the connecting tube and installed in the inferior vena cava; and a blocking part coupled to one side of the connecting tube and obliquely passing through a tricuspid valve to block an orifice of the tricuspid valve.
Expandable sheath with longitudinally extending reinforcing members
An expandable delivery sheath includes an elastic outer tubular layer and an inner tubular layer. The inner tubular layer include a thick wall portion integrally connected to a thin wall portion. The thin wall portion can include longitudinal reinforcing members/rods that facilitate unfolding during the passage of the implant, thus decreasing the push force and increasing the consistency of the push force. The inner tubular layer can have a non-expanded or folded condition wherein the thin wall portion folds onto an outer surface of the thick wall portion under urging of the elastic outer tubular layer. When an implant passes therethrough, the outer tubular layer stretches and the inner tubular layer unfolds into an expanded lumen diameter. Once the implant passes, the outer tubular layer again urges the inner tubular layer into the non-expanded condition with the sheath reassuming its smaller profile.
All-purpose Drainage Catheter
An all-purpose drainage catheter which includes an all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, an extension tubing, a collection bag, a catheter hub, a Luer valve. The extension tubing inserted into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen. The collection bag is fluidly coupled to the extension tubing. The Luer valve facilitates nephrostomy care so that when the all-purpose drainage catheter is in place urine flows from the renal pelvis into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, the extension tubing and the collection bag. The Luer valve employs a scalloped Luer-style male connector which, when screwed into the catheter hub, further allows urine to flow from the renal pelvis into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, the extension tubing and the collection bag. The all-purpose drainage catheter includes an outer catheter hub, an inner catheter hub coupled to the Luer valve at one end thereof and insertedly coupled to the outer catheter hub. A gear rack has a set of ratchet teeth and is disposed on and coupled to the inner catheter hub. A ratchet pawl disposed on and coupled to the outer catheter hub and aligned with the gear rack so that the ratchet pawl engages one of the ratchet teeth to secure the inner catheter hup to the outer catheter hub.
GUIDE EXTENSION CATHETER
Medical devices and methods for making and using medical devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a guide extension catheter. The guide extension catheter may include a proximal member having a proximal end, a distal end, and a proximal diameter. The guide extension catheter may additionally include a collar member attached to the distal end of the proximal member, the collar member comprising a base portion and one or more ribs connected to the base portion and extending distally away from the base portion. In still some additional embodiments, the guide extension catheter may further include a distal sheath member attached to the collar member, the distal sheath member having a distal diameter larger than the proximal diameter.
