An electrochemical apparatus includes an electrode assembly, a first adhesive member, and a second adhesive member. Along a winding direction, a terminating end of the separator exceeds a terminating end of the current collector by 1 to 5 turns, the first adhesive member is disposed on an outer surface of the first straight section, and the second adhesive member is disposed on an outer surface of the first bending section or an outer surface of the outermost current collector at the first bending section.

A rechargeable battery according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly having a separator interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode; a case including an upper case having an open lower portion and a penetration hole in the upper portion thereof, and a lower case having an open upper portion to seal the lower portion of the upper case, and accommodating the electrode assembly therein; and a cap plate coupled to the upper case so as to seal the penetration hole and electrically insulated from the upper case, wherein the upper case and the lower case are coupled such that partial regions overlap, and an upper end of the lower case protrudes inwardly and is latched and fixed to the outside of the upper case.

An electrode assembly, a battery, a battery module, a battery pack and a powered device are provided. The electrode assembly comprises a first electrode piece, a second electrode piece with opposite polarity to the first electrode piece, and a separator arranged between the first electrode piece and the second electrode piece; the electrode assembly is obtained by winding the first electrode piece, the second electrode piece and the separator; and the separator comprises a base film and a coating provided on at least part of the surface of the base film, and the coating comprises a hydraulic inorganic material capable of hardening upon reaction with water. The present application can solve the problem of central hole collapse in the electrode assembly and the battery, and improve the safety performance and cycle performance of the battery.

A battery pack and a vehicle, wherein the battery pack includes a box assembly, a battery unit, a constraint component and an outer cover, the box assembly includes a box body and a fixed beam, the fixed beam is fixed in the box body; the battery unit is arranged in the box body; the constraint component covers the battery unit and is fixed with the fixed beam; and the outer cover is arranged on one side of the constraint component away from the box body to seal an open end of the box body.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of energy storage devices, and discloses a battery module, a battery package and a vehicle. The battery module can include a plurality of battery cells arranged in a horizontal direction, the battery cell can include an electrode assembly and a battery case, and the electrode assembly can be accommodated in the battery case. The electrode assembly can include a first electrode sheet, a second electrode sheet, and a separator disposed between the first and second electrode sheets, wherein the dimension of the battery module in the horizontal direction can be larger than that in the vertical direction of the battery module. The electrode assembly can be of a wound structure or of a laminated structure. The present disclosure can effectively reduce the expansion deformation of the battery module.
