The present invention relates to a battery pack having a cooling unit provided outside a pack case, and more particularly a battery pack including a battery module (100) including one or more unit cells; a case (200) having a receiving portion configured to receive the battery module (100); a cooling unit (300) located at an outer bottom surface of the case (200); and a reinforcement member (400) configured to protect the cooling unit (300).
METHOD FOR REPLACING RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
A method is for replacing a rechargeable battery that is considered as an unsatisfactory rechargeable battery that needs replacing in an assembled battery in which rechargeable batteries are stacked and restrained in a row and electrically connected in series or in parallel. The method includes removing of finding at least one of the rechargeable batteries to be an unsatisfactory rechargeable battery in the assembled battery and removing the unsatisfactory rechargeable battery, and installing a satisfactory rechargeable battery, which has little deterioration, on at least one end of the row of the rechargeable batteries, in a row direction, in the assembled battery from which the unsatisfactory rechargeable battery has been removed.

A battery module includes a battery cell assembly including at least one battery cell, a base plate configured to support a lower side of the battery cell assembly, and a pressing pulley elastically connected to the base plate and configured to cover an upper side of the battery cell assembly, the pressing pulley being elastically deformable in a vertical direction of the battery cell assembly according to cell swelling of the battery cell assembly.

A battery may include: a battery cell; a housing to accommodate the battery cell, where the housing may include a pressure relief structure to release, out of the housing, emissions induced by thermal runaway of the battery cell; and a charging connector to be electrically connected to the battery cell. The charging connector may include a body portion disposed on a side that is of the housing and that is oriented back from the battery cell, and covers the pressure relief structure. The emissions induced by thermal runaway of the battery cell are able to pass through the pressure relief structure and act on the body portion so that at least a part of the body portion may be triggered to move away from the battery cell to electrically disconnect the charging connector from the battery cell.
BATTERY, ELECTRICAL APPARATUS, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING BATTERY
A battery may include: a battery cell; a housing to accommodate the battery cell, where the housing may include a pressure relief structure to release, out of the housing, emissions induced by thermal runaway of the battery cell; and a charging connector to be electrically connected to the battery cell. The charging connector may include a body portion disposed on a side that is of the housing and that is oriented back from the battery cell, and covers the pressure relief structure. The emissions induced by thermal runaway of the battery cell are able to pass through the pressure relief structure and act on the body portion so that at least a part of the body portion may be triggered to move away from the battery cell to electrically disconnect the charging connector from the battery cell.
BATTERY PACK AND CONTROL METHOD FOR BATTERY PACK
A battery pack includes: battery cells; and a measurement circuit unit to measure temperature information of the battery cells, the measurement circuit unit including: a first measurement circuit unit including a first type temperature measurement element; and a second measurement circuit unit including a second type temperature measurement element having a different characteristic of a resistance change according to a temperature change from that of the first type temperature measurement element. The first measurement circuit unit and the second measurement circuit unit are on a common base substrate, or on different individual base substrates from each other.
Vehicle battery pack
A battery pack has a plurality of battery stacks, a case, and a thermal insulation cover. The case accommodates the plurality of battery stacks. The thermal insulation cover is arranged so as to expose an outer surface of at least one battery stack from among the plurality of battery stacks inside the case, and to cover an outer surface of a battery stack that is adjacent to the exposed battery stack. A difference obtained by subtracting an amount of removed heat from an amount of heat generated during heat generation is greater in the battery stack that is exposed from the thermal insulation cover than in the battery stack that is covered by the thermal insulation cover.
Battery module
A battery module including: a battery stack of battery cells having opposite ends to which a plurality of electrode tabs are connected; end-side bus bar assemblies formed at opposite ends of the battery stack, respectively, and electrically connecting the electrode tabs of the battery cells; and a case accommodating the battery stack and the end-side bus bar assemblies.
Battery tray and vehicle
A battery tray and a vehicle include a frame structure including a plurality of frames sequentially connected end to end arranged to be connected to the vehicle, and a base plate structure including an inner base plate and a reinforcing beam, wherein the inner base plate is located on an inner side of the reinforcing beam and arranged for mounting a battery module. The battery tray further includes a reinforcing block, wherein the reinforcing block is connected to a corresponding frame and the reinforcing beam in a matching mode, so as to fixedly connect the reinforcing beam to the frame structure through the reinforcing block. In the battery tray, the strength of the battery tray can be enhanced and a total weight can be decreased only by using the reinforcing block to fixedly connect the reinforcing beam to the frame structure.
