A housing includes a first end plate defining a first end of the housing and a second end plate defining a second end of the housing opposite the first end. The housing also includes a first side plate coupled to the first end plate and the second end plate, thereby defining a first side of the housing, a second side plate coupled to the first end plate and the second end plate, thereby defining a second side of the housing opposite the first side, and a center plate coupled to the first end plate and the second end plate. The housing further includes a back plate coupled to the center plate.
STACKABLE POWER STORAGE SYSTEM
A stackable power storage system is herein described. It comprises a plurality of power modules connectable to each other into a power stack, each one of the power modules comprising at least of a bottom and a top identical to another one of the power modules. The bottom of a top one of the power modules is at least partially nestable in a bottom one of the power modules, The modules comprise connectors connected connectable between power modules when the power modules are stacked thereby at least partially nested relative to each other. Power is transferred between the power modules through the connectors.
STACKABLE POWER STORAGE SYSTEM
A stackable power storage system is herein described. It comprises a plurality of power modules connectable to each other into a power stack, each one of the power modules comprising at least of a bottom and a top identical to another one of the power modules. The bottom of a top one of the power modules is at least partially nestable in a bottom one of the power modules, The modules comprise connectors connected connectable between power modules when the power modules are stacked thereby at least partially nested relative to each other. Power is transferred between the power modules through the connectors.
Battery Module
A battery module according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may includes a cell block including a battery cell assembly containing one or more battery cells and a pair of terminal busbars connected to the battery cell assembly to electrically connect the battery cell to an external device and a module frame for housing the cell block. Two or more of the cell blocks may be contained in the module frame. The two or more cell blocks may not be electrically connected to each other within the module frame.

Disclosed herein are battery modules including at least one battery assembly in turn contains a plurality of cells with two poles at opposing ends and arranged laterally in one row next to each other so that a pole of a cell is next to a pole of a neighbouring cell, a plurality of interconnectors connecting a pole of a cell to pole of a neighbouring cell, a cell holder arranged on at least one side of the plurality of laterally arranged cells so as to position the cells at a mutual distance and to obstruct at least partially a fluid flow in a direction between the two poles at opposing ends of each cell, the battery module further including a housing arranged to accommodate the battery assembly and forming two continuous spaces around each row of poles allowing for fluid flow.
