A connection portion of a lead wire is close to a surface of a metal plate, held at an accurate position, and held while preventing the wire from being movable. A connection structure of the lead wire includes the metal plate, the lead wire connected to the surface of the metal plate, and a pair of holding protrusions. The holding protrusions sandwich at least two parts of the lead wire to dispose the lead wire at a fixed position. Each of the holding protrusions has a holding gap sandwiching and holding the press-fitted lead wire. A connection space of the lead wire and the metal plate is provided between the holding protrusions. The lead wire is held on the surface of the metal plate with the holding protrusions and is connected to the surface of the metal plate in the connection space.

The welded portion includes a high compression portion in which the core wire is compressed, and a low compression portion in which a position that is closer than the high compression portion to the end of the core wire is compressed at a compression lower than that of the high compression portion.

A cover assembly includes a protective cover having an impedance control structure and a plurality of electrical conductors conducting electrical signals of a high-frequency data transmission. The electrical conductors extend through the protective cover in a transmission direction and are overlappingly bonded to each other at a bond location located within the protective cover. The impedance control structure adjusts an impedance of the bond location to a predefined value.

The deformation transforms the tube from a tubular to a deformed shape.

The metallic shell is assembled to the insulating body to form an interface of the electrical connector for connecting to another electrical connector, the clip section is close to the interface, the soldering section is away from the interface, and the cable is soldered to the soldering section of at least one of the terminals in the lateral direction.

A battery module includes a module terminal, electrochemical cells and a bus bar that electrically connects at least a subset of the cells to the module terminal. The bus bar includes an electrically conductive substrate and an insulation layer disposed between the substrates and ends of the cells. The substrate includes primary connection through holes, each primary connection through hole having a second diameter and being aligned with the first end of a unique one of the cells. The insulation layer includes secondary connection through holes. Each secondary connection through hole has a third diameter and is concentric with a corresponding one of the primary through holes. The third diameter is less than the second diameter, and an electrical connector extends between the substrate and the cell terminal and provides an electrical connection between the substrate and the cell terminal.

The cable assembly further includes a solder layer disposed about the metal foil, wherein the solder layer bonds and electrically couples the first foil portion to itself, the second foil portion to cable shielding at the location on the plurality of conductors that is proximate to the conductor interface, and the third foil portion to the plug receiver. The cable assembly further includes an electrically insulating layer that encases the metal shell, the metal foil, and the solder layer.
