The cable assembly further includes a solder layer disposed about the metal foil, wherein the solder layer bonds and electrically couples the first foil portion to itself, the second foil portion to cable shielding at the location on the plurality of conductors that is proximate to the conductor interface, and the third foil portion to the plug receiver. The cable assembly further includes an electrically insulating layer that encases the metal shell, the metal foil, and the solder layer.

Electrical cable assembly

In accordance with an embodiment, an electrical cable can be configured to electrically connect to contact pads that are carried by a substrate. The electrical cable can include at least one, such as a pair, of electrical signal conductors and at least one, for instance a pair, of electrically conductive drain wires. A drain wire in the electrical cable can define a first surface that is configured to face the signal conductors and a second surface that is opposite the first surface. The drain wire can define a width that is greater than 0.12 mm as measured from the first surface to the second surface along a straight line. At least one auxiliary wire can be attached to at least one drain wire. The auxiliary wire can be configured to attach to the substrate.

Ground wire connection structure for motor

A ground wire connection structure for a motor includes: a frame that has electrical conductivity; a flange that is integrated with the frame on one axial end surface of the frame and has electrical conductivity; a protrusion that is protruded outward from a flange surface of the flange and has a through hole; and a conductive pin that has a press-fit portion press-fitted and fixed into the through hole, a diameter-increased head portion, and a solder cup protruded from the head portion to allow an exposed tip end of a ground wire to be inserted and joined into the inside.

Compact robust connector assembly for high voltage electrical heaters

An electrical heater and method includes heating member, a cable, and a connector. A resistance heating element is within a sheath of the heating member. A proximal end of the sheath is inserted into a slot of a first fitting and welded to the first fitting with first and second leads extending into the first fitting. The second fitting is threadably engaged with the first fitting. The second fitting defines a central bore disposed about the axis. An end of a power cable extends into the second central bore. A first wire is coupled to the first lead. A second wire is coupled to the second lead.

Electrical connector having a fixed part bonding with an insulative body by glue

An electrical connector includes a housing and a terminal module mounted in the housing. The terminal module includes an insulative body, a fixed part mounted on the insulative body extending along a back-to-front direction, and a plurality of terminals. The fixed part defines a mounting hole through the fixed part along front-to-back direction. The insulative body has a connecting arm inserting into the mounting hole for position the fixed part on the insulative body. The fixed part defines a pilot hole extending to the mounting hole, and glue is disposed into the pilot hole to bond the fixed part with the insulative body.

Method of manufacturing electric wire with terminal and electric wire with terminal

Provided is a method of manufacturing an electric wire with terminal formed by connecting a first core exposed portion of an electric wire to a metal terminal having a box portion that is formed by processing a single conductive board into a box shape and has an opening in which a counterpart terminal is inserted, and a spring inside the box portion. After laser-welding opposed portions where parts of the single conductive board forming the box portion are opposed to each other, applying ultrasonic vibration to a second core exposed portion of the electric wire is executed.
