Electrical crimp connector with a tail
A glazing panel which comprises an electrical connector with a tail to avoid a wicking effect. The glazing panel is particularly suitable for a vehicle glazing comprising an electrically conductive connector connected to electrically conductive structure such as a heat-able coating or an antenna.
CONNECTION TERMINAL
The present invention provides a connection terminal to be fixed to a conductive portion provided on a glass plate for a vehicle. The connection terminal includes an installation portion having a fixing surface to be fixed to the conductive portion, a rising portion that extends from the installation portion in a direction away from the glass plate, a connection portion that is connected to the rising portion and has a power supply portion configured to supply power, and a solder attached to the fixing surface, in which the solder includes a protruding portion that protrudes from the fixing surface of the installation portion.
Welding base
The disclosure relates to the field of welding technology. A welding base includes a welding groove defined therein. A limiting member is arranged inside the welding groove for preventing solder and to-be-welded member from loosening from the welding groove after the to-be-welded member is welded to the welding joint. Based on the prior art welding base, the inside of the welding groove of the present disclosure is provided with a limiting member, which can prevent the solder from a longitudinal movement, thus preventing the solder from falling off the welding groove.
Electrical contact element and method of producing a hard-soldered, electrically conductive connection to a mating contact by means of a pressed-in soldering body made from hard solder
An electrical contact for forming a materially bonded, electrically conductive connection to a mating contact comprises a contact surface and a soldering body. The contact surface has a recess extending into the contact surface. The soldering body is formed of a hard solder material and is pressed into the recess. The soldering body protrudes out from the recess beyond the contact surface.
Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple terminals accommodated in the insulating body. Each terminal has a base portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from the base portion to be connected to a strip, and an elastic arm extending from the base portion. The elastic arm has a first tearing edge torn from the strip connecting portion, a second tearing edge torn from the strip, and a blanking edge blanked from the strip. The second tearing edge or the blanking edge has a dividing point. When each terminal is connected to the strip and expanded in a same vertical plane, the dividing point and a top point of the first tearing edge are vertically aligned. After the elastic arm is formed by bending, the dividing point and the first tearing edge are both located at a back side of the strip connecting portion.
Coaxial cable and connector with dielectric spacer that inhibits unwanted solder flow
A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes a coaxial cable and a coaxial connector. The coaxial cable includes a central conductor, an outer conductor, a dielectric layer interposed between the central conductor and the outer conductor, and a jacket overlying the outer conductor. The coaxial connector includes: a central conductor extension configured to mate with a mating connector at one end and mated with the central conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; an outer conductor extension configured to mate with the mating connector at one end attached via a solder joint to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; and a dielectric spacer positioned between and separating the central conductor extension and the outer conductor extension, the dielectric spacer further positioned adjacent the solder joint to inhibit solder flow away from the solder joint.
Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes an insulating body, and multiple terminals accommodated therein. Each terminal has a connecting portion, two side portions bending backward and extending from left and right sides of the connecting portion, two extending portions provided opposite to each other and extending downward from the two side portions, and two embracing arms connected to lower ends of the two extending portions. The two embracing arms jointly embrace a solder ball, which has a first vertical central plane in a front-rear direction. The two embracing arms are located on two sides of the first vertical central plane. A distance between the front ends of the two embracing arms is less than a distance between the rear ends of the two embracing arms of each terminal. The front ends of the two embracing arms are attached with solder liquid formed by melting of the solder ball during soldering.
ELECTRICAL CRIMP CONNECTOR WITH A SHIELD ELEMENT
A glazing panel comprising an electrical connector with a shield element to avoid a wicking effect, where the connector is an electrically conductive connector connected to an electrically conductive structure such as a heatable coating or an antenna. The glazing panel is particularly suitable for an automobile glazing.
Contact pin for connecting electrical conductors made of copper and aluminum
A contact pin for connecting a first electrical conductor made of copper or a copper alloy and a second electrical conductor made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy comprises a plug-in section, a connecting section, and a coating disposed at least on the connecting section. The plug-in section is adapted to couple to the first electrical conductor. The connecting section is adapted to connect to the second electrical conductor. The coating is corrosion-resistant and compatible with aluminum and copper.
