Electrical conduction structure for shielding and an electronic device using the same
A first sheet metal is provided with slits. Elastic pieces having flat shapes are each formed between the slits adjacent to each other, and both ends of each of the elastic pieces are connected with both ends of an adjacent one of the elastic pieces. A second sheet metal is provided with protrusions each of which is protruded toward a corresponding one of the elastic pieces.
Cable assembly and method of joining cables
A cable assembly (100) is provided having a first cable (20) having a first conductor (22), a second cable (40) having a second conductor (42) and an electrically conducting joining element (60). The joining element (60) comprises a first threaded end section (61) and a second threaded end section (62) opposite of the first end section (61. The first threaded end section (61) is connected to the first conductor (22). The second threaded end section (62) is connected to the second conductor (42). The present invention also relates to a method for joining a first cable (20) having a first conductor (22) and a second cable (40) having a second conductor (42).
Capacitor unit, and electric compressor
A capacitor unit (20) includes: a harness side terminal (23) provided on a first end portion (22a) side of a first surface of a housing (22) for accommodating a capacitor main body therein; a board side terminal (24) provided in the housing (22) and connectable to a circuit board; and a plurality of guide portions (25) that protrude from the first surface and extend from a second end portion (22b) on a side opposite to the first end portion (22a) toward the first end portion (22a). The plurality of guide portions (25) are provided to be separated in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction of connecting the first end portion (22a) and the second end portion (22b) to each other so as to sandwich the harness side terminal (23) therebetween.
Temperature fuse and electrical junction box
A temperature fuse is ring-shaped and includes an insulation portion and a conductive portion arranged on an inner side and an outer side in a radial direction, and the conductive portion is formed of a thermal fuse element. An electrical junction box includes: a circuit board on which a switching element is mounted; a housing body for housing the circuit board; a conductive plate connected to the switching element, a first hole passing through the conductive plate; a terminal that is shaped as a plate and faces the conductive plate, a second hole passing through the terminal; the temperature fuse interposed between the conductive plate and the terminal in an axial direction, and a shaft-like insertion body for being inserted into the temperature fuse, the first hole, and the second hole.
Lay-in bonding lug with dual conductor path
A bonding lug assembly includes a bonding lug and a set screw. The bonding lug includes a body that defines a first channel and a second channel. The first channel defines a first conductor path extending in a first direction, and the second channel defines a second conductor path extending in a second direction that is different from the first direction. The set screw is configured to selectively engage the bonding lug and retain a bonding conductor within at least one of the first channel or the second channel.

Connector suitable for harsh environments
A connector comprising a contact, a plunger, and a spring activated seal is provided. The contact is positioned within the housing and configured to transmit at least one of an electrical signal and an optical signal between the connector and a secondary device. The plunger is positioned within the housing and in communication with the contact. The spring activated seal comprises a flexible portion and a spring configured to urge the flexible portion to contact the housing and at least one of the plunger and a contact of the secondary device to form a fluid tight seal therebetween.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY SYSTEM
An electrical safety system is provided that includes a conductive coupler, for coupling the electrical safety system to a conductive element and be cast into concrete or similar material with the conductive element; and a housing, coupled to the conductive coupler, configured to be at least partially cast into the concrete or similar material to provide external access to the conductive coupler and thereby the conductive element. A length of the housing is adjustable after being cast into the concrete or similar material to enable the housing to sit flush with a finished surface of or associated with the concrete.
CONDUCTOR INSULATION ANCHORING SYSTEM
The unintended retraction of extruded insulation from a conductor causes reliability and safety concerns. A variety of insulation lock mechanisms are designed to prevent the insulation layer of an insulated lead from retracting and exposing uninsulated portions of the conductor. The insulation lock mechanism can be included between the conductor and the insulation layer, or included in a connector used to provide an electrical connection between an internal motor lead and an insulated lead of a motor lead cable. Within the connector, the insulation lock mechanism can be included between the insulation layer and a terminal that electrically connects the motor lead to the insulated lead.
