A bus bar includes members made from a conductive material and consecutively arranged to form a plate shape defining a wiring pathway. The members adjacent to each other have connection surfaces at which the members adjacent to each other are connected to each other by laser joining. The members adjacent to each other include at least one tolerance buffer between the members adjacent to each other. In the at least one tolerance buffer, the connection surfaces of the members adjacent to each other have different widths.

Connector with current-shunt structure, shunt device and connector assembly with the same

A connector, having a shunt structure, includes an insulating housing, a shunt socket and a plurality of electrical terminals. The insulating housing has a first side surface and a second side surface. The first side surface has an input interface provided for insertion of a power supply component along a first direction. The input interface is a rectangle, having a longitudinal direction parallel to a second direction. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. The second side surface has an output interface. The shunt socket is located on a third side surface and has a clamping portion on a side wall. Each electrical terminal has a contact portion and a leg. Each contact portion extends into the input interface, and each of the legs extends to the output interface. Some electrical terminals have a shunt contact portion, extending into the shunt socket and electrically connected therewith.

Endcap for establishing electrical bonding connection

A bonding endcap for use in connection with a bracket assembly for establishing an equipotential plane in a cable runway includes a spring clip and a bonding lug. The spring clip is made from an electrically conductive material and has two side walls that extend forward from a rear wall. The bonding lug is made from an electrically conductive material and includes a contact portion and a side arm extending at each side of the contact portion. The spring clip is positionable within a channel of a cable runway rail. The contact portion of the bonding lug is receivable between the side walls of the spring clip to deflect the side walls and establish an electrical bonding connection from the cable runway rail, through the spring clip, and to the bonding lug.

CONNECTOR FOR A DC VOLTAGE CONNECTION TO A PLATFORM

A connector for a DC voltage connection to a platform can have i) a first over-mold section for a panel mount and ii) a sealing boot with a second over-mold section. The first over-mold section for the panel mount encases a portion of a first cable and a first section of a shear bolt connector to form a panel mount receptacle. The second over-mold section of the sealing boot encases a portion of a second cable and a second section of the shear bolt connector. The second over-mold section can have a shape and size to slidably fit over the first over-mold section to form a mechanically locked, watertight assembly that covers the shear bolt connector in its entirety and the portions of the first cable and the second cable that are electrically coupled inside the shear bolt connector.

Module connector with at least one displaceable contact assembly

A module connector for electrically connecting a pair of electric modules includes a pair of contact assemblies spaced from one another and fastening the module connector to the electric modules, a conductor assembly electrically connecting the contact assemblies and, with the contact assemblies, forming an electrical connection between the electric modules, and a housing formed of an electrically insulating material. The contact assemblies and the conductor assembly are accommodated in the housing. At least one of the contact assemblies is fastened to the conductor assembly in a manner displaceable relative to the conductor assembly in a direction of displacement directed towards and/or away from the other of the contact assemblies.
