Terminal-Thermistor Assembly
A terminal-thermistor assembly may include a thermistor and a terminal. The thermistor may include a body encasing a temperature-sensing element. The terminal may include a shaft and a housing disposed on an end of the shaft. The housing may include a cavity, a protrusion extending into the cavity and a cantilevered spring element. The spring element may be resiliently flexible between a first position in which a space between the spring element and the protrusion is less than a thickness of the body of the thermistor and a second position in which the space between the spring element and the protrusion is equal to the thickness of the body. A first surface of the thermistor body may contact the spring element and a second surface of the thermistor body opposite the first surface may contact the protrusion when the body is received within the cavity.
Smart lug system
A device includes a device body that further includes a first attachment mechanism for attaching to another object, structure, or item of equipment. The device also includes wireless communication circuitry affixed to the device body, and one or more sensor components affixed to the device body, coupled to the wireless communication circuitry, and configured to sense environmental parameters associated with the device or with the object, structure or item of equipment. The device may further include powering circuitry, affixed to the device body, and configured to provide electrical power to the wireless communication circuitry and/or the one or more sensor components. The device may include a lug, connector or terminal.

Vertical mount battery fuser terminal
A vertical mounted battery terminal mounting assembly includes a battery having a terminal post. A post attachment structure including a contact portion shaped to engage the terminal post of the battery is provided. The post attachment structure includes a wedge translation portion having an angled slide surface. An internal wedge is positioned within the post attachment structure. The internal wedge includes an angled wall and terminal contacts. A core bolt is rotationally fixed and extends through the post attachment structure and the internal wedge. A nut is threaded on the core bolt and contacts an upper edge of the internal wedge wherein the angled wall of the internal wedge engages the angled slide surface of the post attachment structure. Rotation of the nut imparts a downward force on the internal wedge wherein contact of the angled wall and the slide surface evenly translates the downward force to a horizontal force wherein the terminal contacts and the contact portion engage the battery terminal post.
Battery terminal
What is described is a battery terminal having a pole contact element which is designed to surround a pole of a rechargeable battery on a mounting plane; a first limb and a second limb which are each connected to the pole contact element, the spacing between the first and second limbs being reducible by application of force in order to fasten the pole contact element to the pole, and a tensioning arrangement which couples the two limbs to one another, said tensioning arrangement having a tensioning screw which can be actuated so as to apply force to the two limbs and which is oriented along a tensioning direction which is tilted with respect to the mounting plane. In this case, the tensioning arrangement comprises a first clamping piece which can be positioned on the first limb and a second clamping piece which can be positioned on the second limb, wherein the tensioning screw is passed through a first screw receptacle formed in the first clamping piece and a second screw receptacle formed in the second clamping piece, said first and second screw receptacles being aligned with one another along the tensioning direction.

POWER INTERCONNECTS IN A MODULAR ACCESS PANEL
A bolt-through type power connector includes a metal plate portion and a metal attachment portion. The bolt-through type power connector has a first end and a second end. The bolt-through type power connector includes a metal plate portion at the first end. The metal plate portion includes a structure that is configured to support one or more ring terminals of one or more power cables. The structure is (a) a through hole, which is in the metal plate portion and sized to receive a bolt that is configured to support the one or more ring terminals, or (b) a stud, which is configured to support the one or more ring terminals. The metal attachment portion extends from the metal plate portion to the second end. The metal attachment portion has a male engagement portion with a flange portion that provides a surface facing the second end. The male engagement portion has an outer profile for receipt of hardware to secure the bolt-through type connector within an opening of a bulkhead assembly. The bolt-through type power connector is structured to effectively carry a current that is equal to or greater than 450 amperes.
