A plurality of connectors is coupled to the buss bar and extends through a respective opposing side of the housing. A plurality of couplers is coupled to the buss bar. The couplers are positioned on a front face of the buss bar. The connectors are configured for insertion of wires, such that the wires are coupled to the buss bar and the buss bar is coupled to an electrical circuit. The couplers are configured for insertion of wiring that is coupled to an electrical device, such as a switch, light, fan or outlet. The wiring is coupled to the buss bar and the electrical device is coupled to the electrical circuit.
Battery State Detection System and Method
A battery charger and method is disclosed for detecting when a battery has a low state of health while simultaneously charging or maintaining the battery. A battery charger includes a processor; a non-transitory memory device; a power management device to receive an input power and to output a charging current; a pair of electrical conductors to electrically couple with a battery, and a display electrically coupled to the processor. The display being configured to indicate a bad battery indicator when the battery has a low state of health and whether the battery is good to start.
POWER CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRATED POWER MONITORING
An electronic power connector including a contact and a contact core. The contact is configured to electrically connect a power supply to a load. The contact core is configured to receive the contact. The contact core includes a transformer winding configured to sense a current and a sensor slot configured to receive a sensor. In some embodiments, the sensor is configured to sense a temperature. In some embodiments, the sensor is configured to sense a voltage.
Electrical conductor and electrical interface
The invention relates to an electrical conductor (1) having an electrical contact element (2) that is associated in particular with an interface (21) and has at least one electrical contact point (17), wherein the conductor (1) has a bundle (3) of electrical individual cores (4). Provision is made for the individual cores (4) to be carbon-nanostructure-based fibers (CNB), in particular carbon nanotubes (CNT), and for a segment (9) of each individual core (4) to have at least the one contact point (17) of the contact element (2). The invention further relates to an electrical interface (21).
MULTICORE CABLE
A cable includes a line and a coupling housing. The line includes a plurality of cores and a sheath. The sheath is radially outwardly disposed relative to the cores. Each of the cores has a conductor and an insulation surrounding the conductor. Each of the conductors is stripped of the insulation at an end of the cores. A coupling housing including a coupling ring, a pin housing, and a sealing element. The coupling ring embraces the pin housing and the sheath and is fixed to the sheath. The pin housing surrounds the stripped ends of the conductors. The sealing element is disposed between the coupling ring and the pin housing. The conductors are formed of a solid and coated steel wire and the stripped ends of the conductors are useable as pin contacts.
Electrical Connector
Having an advantage in user convenience, an electrical connector for connecting with an electrical cable under a do-it-yourself scenario is provided, where the cable has a knot at a cable end. The connector comprises a connector body and a cover. The connector body has an internal space for housing the knot, an opening for allowing the cable end to access the internal space, and an outlet for allowing the cable to run from the internal space to outside the connector body. The cover has a top plate for covering the opening. In particular, the cover includes two wings protruded from the top plate collectively for claiming the knot to secure the knot inside the internal space. A separation of the two wings is advantageously selected to be 2 times to 3 times of a cross-sectional width of the outlet for producing a clamping effect on the knot.
Cable shielding with metal foil
A cable assembly includes a plug receiver, a conductor interface, a metal shell encasing the conductor interface and a portion of a cable of the cable assembly, a metal foil that wraps conformably around an exterior of the metal shell, wherein the metal foil covers substantially all of the exterior of the metal shell and extends beyond the metal shell onto a cable shielding layer. The cable assembly further includes a solder layer disposed about the metal foil, wherein the solder layer bonds and electrically couples the first foil portion to itself, the second foil portion to cable shielding at the location on the plurality of conductors that is proximate to the conductor interface, and the third foil portion to the plug receiver. The cable assembly further includes an electrically insulating layer that encases the metal shell, the metal foil, and the solder layer.
