Spring-loaded interconnects having pre-configured flexible cable
A spring-loaded interconnect includes a forward interconnect subassembly and a rearward interconnect subassembly with a flexible cable extending between each subassembly. The flexible cable includes a plurality of curved sections, and a plurality of substantially straight sections integral with the plurality of curved sections. The plurality of curved sections and the plurality of substantially straight sections are pre-configured within the spring-loaded interconnect such that the flexible cable and a spring compress, relax, and axially travel a predetermined distance when at least one external load is applied to at least one end of the spring-loaded interconnect.

GROUNDING ELEMENT AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COMPONENT HAVING A GROUNDING ELEMENT
A grounding element for electrically grounding an electrical installation component has a steel sheet component that is provided with a coating that constitutes an alloy.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR SET INCLUDING THE SAME
An electrical connector includes a holding member that is electrically insulating, and a signal terminal and a male ground terminal held by the holding member. The male ground terminal is disposed next to the signal terminal. The male ground terminal includes a first lengthwise extending part, a second lengthwise extending part opposed to the first lengthwise extending part, and a laterally connecting part connecting an end portion of the first lengthwise extending part and an end portion of the second lengthwise extending part. The male ground terminal projects in side view. The male ground terminal includes a connection path configured to electrically connect the first lengthwise extending part and the second lengthwise extending part.

Self-lubricating connector
A self-lubricating connector with a housing having a contact receiving cavity with a contact provided therein. A lubricating device is positioned in the housing proximate the contact. The lubricating device extends into the contact receiving cavity and has lubricant provided therein. The lubricant from the lubricating device is deposited or on the outside surface of the contact as the contact is moved between the first position and the second position, reducing wear on the contacts as the contacts are moved between the first position and the second position.
CONTACT MEMBER, CONNECTOR, COMPOSITION, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONTACT MEMBER
The present invention provides a contact member that strikes a balance between low electrical resistance and sliding durability under the condition of load as low as about 0.1 N. A contact member of the invention has a metal base and a coating disposed on at least part of the metal base. The coating contains fluorinated oil having a polar group, and metal particles surface-treated with a fluorine-based compound having a polar group.
