A cable connector includes an outer shell having a bore extending between a mating end and a cable end. The outer shell has latch pockets. The cable connector includes a shield received in the outer shell that divides the bore into chambers. The cable connector includes contact holders received in corresponding chambers. Each contact holder includes at least one contact channel and a deflectable latch having a latching head at a distal end of the latch configured to be received in the corresponding latch pocket of the outer shell to axially secure the contact holder in the outer shell. The latch has an interference bump at an inner end of the latch configured to engage the shield to press the latching head of the latch outward. The cable connector includes contacts received in corresponding contact channels of the corresponding contact holders.

Low profile electrical connector system with differential pair cable interface

An electrical connector includes a differential signal pair. A portion of each terminal is disposed in an insulative housing and an electrically conductive shield extends around at least a portion of the terminals and a least a portion of the housing. The housing may have a lower surface and a projection extending downward from the lower surface between a portion of a vertical section of each of the terminals. The terminals may have an angled section including a vertical portion having a first width, an angled portion narrower than the vertical portion, and a horizontal portion narrower than the angled portion. The housing may have a housing mating component spaced from a housing body component and aligned with but spaced from the terminals. The terminals may have a planar termination section with a first portion wider than a second portion.

Waterproof socket connector

A waterproof socket connector includes an inner insulator, a plurality of terminals fastened in the inner insulator, at least one resistor, a conductive element, a grounding element, a shell, a sealing element and an outer insulator. The plurality of the terminals are a plurality of charging terminals and detection terminals. The at least one resistor is mounted to the detection terminals. The charging terminals are connected to the conductive element. The detection terminals are connected to the grounding element. The charging terminals are connected to the grounding element. The shell surrounds the inner insulator. A rear end of the shell is hollow to form an inner space. The sealing element is filled in the inner space. The outer insulator surrounds the inner insulator, the plurality of the terminals, the shell, the sealing element, the at least one resistor, the conductive element and grounding element.

Waterproof socket connector

A waterproof socket connector includes an inner insulator, a plurality of terminals fastened in the inner insulator, at least one resistor, a conductive element, a grounding element, a shell, a sealing element and an outer insulator. The plurality of the terminals are a plurality of charging terminals and detection terminals. The at least one resistor is mounted to the detection terminals. The charging terminals are connected to the conductive element. The detection terminals are connected to the grounding element. The charging terminals are connected to the grounding element. The shell surrounds the inner insulator. A rear end of the shell is hollow to form an inner space. The sealing element is filled in the inner space. The outer insulator surrounds the inner insulator, the plurality of the terminals, the shell, the sealing element, the at least one resistor, the conductive element and grounding element.

Cable connector with improved shielding performance

A cable connector includes a number of cables and an electrical connector. Each cable includes a core wire, an insulating layer wrapped on the core wire and a shielding layer wrapped on the insulating layer. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, a number of conductive terminals and a shielding shell. Each conductive terminal includes a contact portion for mating with a mating connector and a tail portion connected with the core wire. The cable connector further includes a ground shield mounted to the cables. The ground shield is connected with the shielding layers of the cables, and the ground shield is connected with the shielding shell. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure improves the shielding performance of the cable connector by providing connecting the ground shield, the shielding layers and the shielding shell together.

Cable connector with improved shielding performance

A cable connector includes a number of cables and an electrical connector. Each cable includes a core wire, an insulating layer wrapped on the core wire and a shielding layer wrapped on the insulating layer. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, a number of conductive terminals and a shielding shell. Each conductive terminal includes a contact portion for mating with a mating connector and a tail portion connected with the core wire. The cable connector further includes a ground shield mounted to the cables. The ground shield is connected with the shielding layers of the cables, and the ground shield is connected with the shielding shell. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure improves the shielding performance of the cable connector by providing connecting the ground shield, the shielding layers and the shielding shell together.

Cable assembly

A cable includes an electrical connector at one end and a sensor at the other end. The connector includes a terminal module having a plurality of contacts embedded within an insulator wherein each contact has a resilient contacting section exposed upon to an exterior in a first vertical direction, and a soldering section exposed in a second vertical direction to be connected to the corresponding wires of the cable and selectively further to a resistor. The sensor includes a case enclosing an LED (Light Emitting Diode) and a PD (Photo Diode both of which are respectively connected to the corresponding contacts respectively soldered to the corresponding wires.

The insulated connection system including an electrically insulating casing defining: a first recess portion for accommodating a first connecting portion of the first busbar, a second recess portion for accommodating a second connecting portion of the second busbar, and a sleeve portion for accommodating a portion of the second busbar provided with the bar orifice. The insulated connection system further including a busbar positioning assurance (BPA) member of electrically insulating material configured to accommodate a portion of the first connector and to be received in the connector passage and the bar orifice.
