Removable-replaceable protector and method
A removable-replaceable protector for a cable secured to a plug. The protector includes a resiliently-flexible sleeve positionable over the cable and the plug, the sleeve having a longitudinal slit extending along the sleeve. The protector also includes a resiliently-rigid clip positionable over the resiliently-flexible sleeve and super imposed over the plug, the clip having a longitudinal slot extending along the clip.
CONNECTOR HOUSING AND WIRE HARNESS
A connector housing includes a housing main body, a seal element configured to tightly seal a gap between an outer circumferential surface of an electric wire section of a terminal-equipped electric wire and an inner circumferential surface of the housing main body, and a rear holder which is a lid element configured to be attached to the housing main body so as to close the rear side opening and has a passage hole and a protrusion, the passage hole allowing the electric wire section to pass therethrough and having a larger opening area than a radial cross section area of the electric wire section, wherein the protrusion protrudes from a portion of an inner circumferential surface of the passage hole in a circumferential direction with a protrusion length, the protrusion length being adapted to an inner circumference position of a sealing through hole.
HDMI USB combination cord
A wireless streaming receiver or other signal input source is coupled to an HDMI slot on a television through a combination cord which includes male and female HDMI connectors at opposite ends of a hybrid cable segment. An HDMI conductor bundle extends along this hybrid cable segment between these HDMI connectors, to couple the wireless streaming receiver to the HDMI slot on the television. The combination cord also includes first and second USB cable segments extending from near each of the HDMI connectors. These USB cable segments extend to either a USB slot on the television to receive power therein or to a USB connector for attachment to a power port of the wireless streaming receiver. The USB conductor bundle extends along the USB cable segments and the hybrid cable segment to provide power from the USB slot on the television to the power port on the wireless streaming receiver.
RUBBER PLUG
A rubber plug has a tubular sealing function portion that allows an electric wire to pass through the tubular sealing function portion and a tubular low-rigidity portion that allows the electric wire to pass through the low-rigidity portion. The sealing function portion exhibits sealing performance by elastically coming into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the terminal accommodating chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. The low-rigidity portion has a lower rigidity than the sealing function portion, and is arranged rearward of the sealing function portion.
RUBBER PLUG
A rubber plug A includes a tubular seal functioning portion 10 through which a wire 20 is passed, and a tubular portion 15 through which the wire 20 is passed. The seal functioning portion 10 exhibits a sealing function by being held resiliently in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of a terminal accommodation chamber 29 and an outer peripheral surface of the wire 20. The tubular portion 15 is disposed behind the seal functioning portion 10. Weight portions 16 relatively displaceable with respect to the tubular portion 15 are formed on the outer periphery of the tubular portion 15.
Cover for L-shaped connector
A cover for protecting an L-shaped connector including: a cover main body configured to integrally cover a connector section and a cable holding section of an L-shaped connector having a connector portion serving as a portion to be inserted into a connection port and a cable holding section configured to guide a cable from the connector section in a direction orthogonal to the connector section; a connector cover section that is configured to cover the connector section among the cover main body; and a finger hold section provided on the connector cover section and protruding outward in a direction orthogonal to a center line of the connector portion.
Connector holding structure
A connector holding structure is provided with a plurality of connectors to be connected to a plurality of mating connectors arranged in an arrangement direction, a plurality of wires drawn out from the plurality of connectors, and a connector holding member including a plurality of connector mounting portions for respectively holding the plurality of connectors, the connector holding member collectively holding the plurality of connectors. The connector holding member includes a deflectable and deformable flexible portion between adjacent ones of the plurality of connector mounting portions.
Protection sheath structure for switch wire connection device
A protection sheath structure for switch wire connection device provides dustproof and waterproof effects and enhances the assembling security between the switch wire connection device and the conductive wire. The protection sheath has the form of a cylindrical body including a head section having a mouth section, a belly section connected with the head section and a tail section connected with the belly section. The head section and the belly section together define a chamber for assembling with the switch wire connection device. The tail section defines a guide hole permitting the conductive wire to plug into the protection sheath. Multiple annular ribs are disposed on a circumference of the tail section to enhance the structural strength of the protection sheath (or the tail section), whereby the tail section is able to bear external force produced in wiring operation of the conductive wire.
ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR
An electrical plug connector terminates a twisted pair electrical cable. The electrical plug connector includes a base and a plug housing holding electrical contacts therebetween. The base includes a divider structure including separation walls. At least one of the separation walls defines an abutment surface against which a forward end of the electrical cable abuts when terminated by the electrical plug connector. The plug housing defines slots so that the electrical contacts are accessible. The electrical plug connector axially secures an outer jacket of the electrical cable against rearward movement relative to base. The at least one separation wall inhibits forward axial movement of the outer jacket of the electrical cable relative to the base.
WIRE HARNESS WIRE END PROTECTION METHOD
A bent portion of electric wires is protected at a high versatility by a protective member having a simple shape. A wire end of a wire harness 11 is protected. The wire harness 11 includes a wire bundle 13 and a connector 14 connected therewith. The wire bundle 13 includes the wire end, and the wire end includes a bent portion 13a and faces the connector 14. First, a sheet member 15a is folded perpendicularly to a wire lead-out surface 14a of the connector 14, thereby forming, concurrently, counter sides 31 facing the wire lead-out surface 14a, side surface covering portions, and a tip end protection portion 33. Next, the side surface covering portions are folded along a top protection portion formation portion 44, thereby forming, concurrently, side surface protection portions 32, a top protection portion 34 and an extending portion 35. Next, a wire end protection portion 15 is secured, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or the like, to a wire bundle 13 portion while the relative position of the counter sides 31 with respect to the wire lead-out surface 14a is maintained. The wire end protection portion 15 is secured only to the wire bundle 13 portion, but is not secured to the connector 14.
