Apparatus for connecting a power cable
The invention relates to an apparatus for connecting a power cable to an electronic unit of a power tool having at least one clamp for clamping a connecting line of the power cable and a contact element for establishing an electrical contact between the connecting line and the electronic unit. The clamp and the contact element are arranged on a connecting element extending through an opening in a housing element, which spatially separates the clamp from the electronic unit. The opening is sealed by a seal bearing against the connecting element.
Retainer resisting decoupling of electrical cords
A retainer resists decoupling of a first connector of a first cord from a second connector of a second cord. The retainer includes a first receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the first cord. The retainer includes a second receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the second cord. A connector housing couples the first and second receiver. The first receiver, second receiver, and connector housing form a continuous chamber in which lies portion of the first and second cords connected together when the retainer resides in an installed orientation. The retainer, in the installed orientation, resists incursion of water, dust particulate matter and other debris into the continuous chamber.
Wire connection boot assembly
The invention relates to a method of connecting electrical wires, conductors, or connections together by rotating the connector ends in an enclosure to tightly twist the wire ends together and also includes a clamping mechanism to prevent the wires from untwisting, becoming loose, or falling out of the enclosure. The present invention increases the holding ability of current rotating tools for electrical wires and connections.
CABLE ORGANIZER FOR A PLUGGABLE MODULE
A pluggable module includes a housing and cables arranged as a cable bundle extending from a module cavity of the housing. Each cable includes first and second conductors and an insulator surrounding the conductors. Each cable is obround shaped having generally flat first and second ends and semi-circular first and second sides between the first and second ends. The pluggable module includes a cable organizer coupled to the cable bundle to position the cables relative to each other. The cable organizer has cable channels receiving and holding the cables such that at least a first subset of the cables are oriented with the first and second ends non-parallel to the first and second ends of a second subset of the cables.
HIGH DENSITY MULTI-POSITION NEWORK TERMINATION ASSEMBLY AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE
A high-density network termination assembly, mountable in multiple orientations such as in equipment cabinets, in equipment racks or on walls, that provides identified termination points and physical cable management to maintain bend radius requirements for multiple twisted pair Ethernet cables, fiber cables, and other types of signal and communication cables in a small space using commercially available snap-in couplers. The termination assembly also provides one or more optional corrosion-resistant landing points for equipment grounding conductors to be affixed for compliance with industry standard equipotential grounding practices.
Strain relief for battery cable terminals
An automotive battery cable includes an electrical wire, a terminal crimped onto a distal end of the electrical wire, and a sleeve positioned on the electrical wire and extending over an attachment point between the terminal and the electrical wire, the sleeve including a first portion including a body and a neck, the body including an inner surface having contour features adapted to allow the body to deform and compress against the attachment point and matching the shape of the attachment point to sealingly encapsulate the attachment point, and the neck extending from the body around and along the electrical wire, and a second portion encircling and compressing the body onto the attachment point to seal the attachment point within the first portion and to provide a positive stop to limit relative motion of the electrical wire and the terminal at the attachment point.
CABLE SECURING CLAMP AND DATA TRANSMISSION DEVICE
Provided are a cable securing clamp and a data transmission device. The cable securing clamp includes a clamp body and a snap member. The clamp body is provided with a first through hole, a side wall of the clamp body is provided with a second through hole communicating with the first through hole, and the first through hole is configured to allow a cable to pass through. A first end of the snap member is pivotally connected to the clamp body, a second end of the snap member is in interference fit with the second through hole, a surface of the second end of the snap member is provided with a tooth structure, and the tooth structure is configured to snap the cable in the first through hole such that the cable is secured in an extending direction of the first through hole.
SIGNAL CABLE
Provided is a signal cable including a connector (20) including a shell (21) that houses a connection terminal (22) to be connected to a connection terminal included in an electronic device and that is electrically connected to a frame ground of the electronic device in a state in which the connector (20) is connected to the electronic device, a cable body (10) including a ground connection wire electrically connected to the shell (21), and a supporting member (40) having a tubular shape and having a higher rigidity than the surface of the cable body (10). The connector-side end portion of the cable body (10) is led inside the supporting member (40), the connector-side end portion of the ground connection wire includes a folded portion that folded, and is disposed outside the supporting member (40), and the shell (21) is fixed to the cable body (10) in a state in which the folded portion is sandwiched between the shell (21) and the supporting member (40).
CONNECTOR
A housing 20 includes a plurality of engaging portions 27 arranged at positions point-symmetrical in a back view on a peripheral edge part of a rear surface and protrusions 22 arranged to project rearward from the rear surface. A cover 70 includes engaged portions 81 to 85 to be engaged with and held by the engaging portions 27, a space portion 77 in which the protrusions 22 are located with the cover 70 properly assembled with the housing 20, and an interfering portion for interfering with the protrusions 22 when the cover 70 is in a posture opposite to the proper one with respect to the housing 20.
