Connector Retention Clip
A connector retention clip is disclosed. The connector retention clip can include a connector housing having a plurality of connector walls defining a connector opening operable to receive a coupled receptacle and plug connector therein. The plurality of connector walls can include a receptacle end wall and a plug end wall operable to extend about ends of the receptacle and plug, respectively, to provide a mechanical barrier preventing uncoupling of the coupled receptacle and plug connector. In addition, the connector retention clip can include a cable housing extending from the connector housing. The cable housing can have at least one cable wall defining a cable opening operable to receive a cable therein that extends from the coupled receptacle and plug connector.
Strain relief apparatus for wire harness assembly
A wire connector strain relief apparatus is provided herein. The wire connector strain relief apparatus includes a body having a generally U-shaped cross-section, a first end, and a second end. The first end of the body is configured to receive a wire harness that includes one or more wires to be, or already, connected to an electrical connector. The second end of the body includes one or more structural features configured to engage with one or more structural features of an external surface of the electrical connector to attach to the electrical connector and minimize relative movement between the wire harness and the electrical connector.
POWER PLUG RETENTION CLIP
A retention clip includes a clip body having a retention portion configured to releasably engage and releasably secure a plug. The retention portion includes clips extending from the clip body. The clips are configured to engage and releasably secure the clip body to the plug. The clip body further includes at least one post extending from the clip body. The at least one post is configured to secure the clip body to a connector element of a support structure by coupling with the connector element.
Retainer Resisting Decoupling Of Electrical Cords
A retainer resists decoupling of a first connector of a first cord from a second connector of a second cord. The retainer includes a first receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the first cord. The retainer includes a second receiver having an adjuster to adjust the receiver about a portion of the second cord. A connector housing couples the first and second receiver. The first receiver, second receiver, and connector housing form a continuous chamber in which lies portion of the first and second cords connected together when the retainer resides in an installed orientation. The retainer, in the installed orientation, resists incursion of water, dust particulate matter and other debris into the continuous chamber.
FIXING DEVICE TO SECURE AN RJ-INTERFACE
A fixing device to secure an RJ interface is intended for securing the interconnection between an RJ port of an electric actuator and a cable provided with an RJ connector in order to eliminate problems resulting from disturbances in electrical contact between the RJ port and the RJ connector. The fixing device includes a frame member capable of being immovably fixed to the actuator (1) with first fastening elements- and a support member for having the RJ connector-equipped cable fixed immovably thereto with second fastening elements.
Connector converter
Provided is a connector converter, comprising a shell, a circuit board assembly and a connecting wire, wherein the circuit board assembly comprises a digital signal board integrated with a digital circuit, the digital signal board being provided in the shell, and the digital signal board being provided with a plurality of output interfaces; the shell is provided with outer pockets positioned corresponding to the output interfaces; and an inner end of the connecting wire is provided with a metal plate, the metal plate being embedded in the digital signal board and electrically connected to the digital signal board via a connecting terminal, and an outer end of the connecting wire extends out to the outside of the shell and is provided with an input interface. The metal plate is in embedded connection with the digital signal board.
High-power electrical feeder connector
An electrical connector includes conductive male and female contacts and insulating inner and outer sleeves, and connects first and second electrical wires end-to-end. The contacts can be attached to corresponding conductors of the first and second wires. The male contact includes an elongated pin; the female contact includes a receptacle. Inserting the pin into the receptacle results in mechanical engagement of, and electrical continuity between, the assembled contacts. The assembled contacts can be positioned within the compressible inner sleeve, which extends beyond the ends of the assembled contacts. The inner sleeve, with the assembled contacts therein, can be positioned within the rigid outer sleeve, which extends at least as far as the inner sleeve. Compression of the inner sleeve by the ends of the outer sleeve frictionally engages the ends of the inner sleeve with the corresponding wires.
BREAKAWAY CONNECTORS FOR COAXIAL CABLES
A breakaway coaxial cable connector includes a conductive body configured to engage a cable. The conductive body is configured to be selectively coupled to an interface port to maintain electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface during operation of the connector when a first tension force below a predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port, and the conductive body is configured to be selectively de-coupled from the interface port so as to interrupt electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface port during operation of the connector when a second tension force above the predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port.
RAILROAD CROSSING GATE LAMP SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a new gate lamp system and method. The system and method is configured to facilitate the installation of a gate lamp onto a gate arm, and to facilitate the replacement of one or more of the gate lamps. The present disclosure provides a system and method of installing gate lamps on a gate arm in the field in a robust manner with ease.
Power plug retention device
A power plug retention device for use with a power plug inserted in a power receptacle is provided. The power plug retention device includes a body including an insertion portion and a gripping portion formed along an insertion axis of the body. The insertion portion is shaped as a wedge configured to be inserted in a gap between the power plug and the power receptacle. The gripping portion includes an insertion force receiving surface formed orthogonal to the insertion axis and configured to receive an insertion force from a user in an insertion direction along the insertion axis to thereby insert and lodge the wedge in the gap to form an interference fit between the wedge, the power plug, and the power receptacle when the wedge is inserted in the gap.
