Connector unit
In a connector unit including a connector and a connector cover that fits on the connector, the connector includes a guide means that guides electric wires in one direction, while the connector cover includes a pressing means that presses on and deforms the guide means so as to restrict the movement of the electric wires that are guided by the guide means, whereby the electric wires that are pulled out of the connector are oriented in the one direction in which the electric wires are guided by the guide means.
CONNECTOR UNIT
A connector unit including a connector and a connector cover. Locking protrusions are provided at one end of the connector, and locking holes are provided in an upper wall and a bottom wall of the connector cover. Notch parts capable of receiving the electric wire are provided at any one end of both ends of the upper wall and both ends of the bottom wall corresponding to both opening ends of the hollow space surrounded by the connector, the upper wall, the bottom wall, and side walls.
PLUG RETAINER APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
Example retainer apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example retainer apparatus disclosed herein includes a post having a first end attachable to a wall plate cover opening of an outlet and a second end opposite the first end. The example retainer apparatus also includes a plug retainer to be removably coupled to the post. The plug retainer of the example retainer apparatus is to move relative to the post between the first end of the post and the second end of the post.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND MODULES FOR HIGH-SPEED CONNECTIVITY
A connector system having a plurality of high-speed connector modules, an anti-decoupling connector shell, and a multi axis backshell is provided. The high-speed module provides a low signal degradation electrically conductive signal path for terminated wires of twisted pairs of wires. The high-speed module additionally provides for dense placement of the terminated wires within the connector shell. The connector shell provides an anti-decoupling mechanism to prevent decoupling of the connector shell from a socket type connector shell resulting from typical forces applied to the connector shell. The multi-axis backshell provides mechanisms to toollessly adjust the angle of the various components making up the backshell which in turn provides a specifically angled path for cables contained within the backshell.
Plug connector device having a wiring block with at least one receiving region
A plug connector device includes one or more wiring block(s) which is provided for receiving one or more multi-wire data cable(s). The wiring block includes one or more receiving region(s) for receiving one or more wire(s) of the multi-wire data cable(s). The receiving region is at least partly delimited by one or more receiving element, which is at least partly deformable. The one or more receiving element(s) includes one or more first receiving piece(s), which is implemented at least partly elastically and/or plastically deformable. The receiving region(s) includes one or more second receiving piece(s) including one or more holding lug(s), which is at least partly provided for fastening respectively one wire of the multi-wire data cable(s) in a form-fit manner. The first receiving piece at least partly has a first rigidity, the second receiving piece at least partly has a second rigidity different from the first rigidity.
Apparatus, system, and method for achieving power connections in space-limited computing environments
The disclosed apparatus includes (1) a right-angle power plug that (A) plugs into a computing device and (B) facilitates feeding electrical power to the computing device when plugged into the computing device and (2) at least one power cable that is electrically coupled to the right-angle power plug at a right angle such that the power cable runs perpendicular to the right-angle power plug. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
Cable support and attachment device
A cable attachment device is formed of a support member and at least one cable adapter. The support member has an elongated support post having inner column with at least two opposing notches formed along a length thereof. The at least one cable adapter has an inner surface and an outer surface and is configured to be inserted onto the support member. The cable adapter also has at least one tab and at least two opposing resilient prongs extending inwardly from the inner surface of the cable adapter, and at least one handle extending outwardly from the outer surface of the cable adapter configured to secure at least one wire or cable thereto. The at least two opposing resilient prongs are configured to engage the at least two opposing notches on the inner column of the support member to secure the cable adapter thereto.
Holding member
A first holding member has first stop portions, and a second holding member has one or more support portions and one or more second stop portions. Each of the second stop portions is supported by one of the support portions to be movable in a direction intersecting with a front-rear direction in accordance with resilient deformation of the one of the support portions. When the first holding member and the second holding member are combined with each other, the first stop portions are grouped into a first group and a second group, each of the second stop portions faces one or more of the first stop portions of the first group in the front-rear direction, and each of the first stop portions of the second group faces none of the second stop portions in the front-rear direction.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTOR COVER
A connector assembly may have a cover installed to a connector for curving a cable extending from a lead-out portion of a housing in a direction different from a lead-out direction of the cable. The cover may have a hood portion that covers the lead-out portion of the housing and a slit that is formed in the hood portion and where through the cable is inserted. The housing may have an outer shell portion that is disposed on an outer side of the hood portion of the cover and covers at least a portion of the hood portion.
Variable angle EMI shielding assembly
A conductive EMI shielding assembly for shielding the connection between a multi-wire cable and a corresponding circuit board connector is disclosed, and includes a housing portion for surrounding the circuit board connector and a coupling portion for mating with the housing portion and the cable. The housing portion has a base with a rectangular configuration and a collar portion that mates with a corresponding collar portion of the coupling portion. The coupling portion has an opposing end that slips over the end of the cable and attaches to the cable. The housing collar portion and coupling mating portion include associated tabs and openings arranged around them in a circular pattern at preselected angular intervals. The tabs and openings permit the coupling portion to be oriented with respect to the housing portion in a number of different patterns.
