A connector system having a plurality of high-speed connector modules, an anti-decoupling connector shell, and a multi axis backshell is provided. The high-speed module provides a low signal degradation electrically conductive signal path for terminated wires of twisted pairs of wires. The high-speed module additionally provides for dense placement of the terminated wires within the connector shell. The connector shell provides an anti-decoupling mechanism to prevent decoupling of the connector shell from a socket type connector shell resulting from typical forces applied to the connector shell. The multi-axis backshell provides mechanisms to toollessly adjust the angle of the various components making up the backshell which in turn provides a specifically angled path for cables contained within the backshell.

DRESS COVER WITH TAPE AND TIE FEATURE

A connector housing assembly and a dress cover configured to provide multiple wire routing options are provided. The dress cover includes an exit path defining a path for which the wire bundle is routed. The dress cover further includes a tie feature and a tape feature. The tape feature is a generally planar member extending from an outer peripheral side of a back wall and is orthogonal to the plane of a first side wall of the dress cover and is coplanar with the exit path. The tie feature is mounted on the first side wall and is adjacent the exit path. The tie feature is disposed above a plane of the exit path so as to allow the tied bundle of wire to be tied along the plane of the exit path.

Cable connector for use with a rotating connection

A connector system for connecting a cable having a length to an item includes a base operatively connectible to the item, the base including a channel to seat at least a portion of the cable, the channel being in operative connection with the item upon connection of the base to the item, and a rotatable member which is rotatable relative to the base. The cable is in operative connection with the rotatable member so that, as the rotating member rotates relative to the base, a bend in the cable is formed at different locations in the length of the cable such that the different locations define different lengths of the cable. The different lengths of the cable become positioned within the channel as the rotating member rotates relative to the base.

BACKSHELL ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

A backshell adapter assembly includes a coupling member, a ferrule positionable at least partially within the coupling member, and an adapter body including at least one support arm. At least one swing arm is connectable to the at least one support arm. The at least one swing arm is positionable relative to the at least one support arm at a plurality of distinct configurations. One of the at least one support arm and the at least one swing arm has a single recess formed therein and the other of the at least one support arm and the at least one swing arm has at least one protrusion extending therefrom. The at least one protrusion is receivable within the single recess.

An angle connector, including an angle holder, a cable, and multiple contacts, is provided. The angle holder includes a first receiving portion, a second receiving portion, and a first bending portion connected therebetween. Each of the first receiving portion and the second receiving portion has multiple receiving grooves. The cable includes multiple core wires. Each of the contacts includes a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion, and a second bending portion connected therebetween. The first connecting portions for electrically connecting to another electrical connector are embedded in the receiving grooves of the first receiving portion. The second connecting portions electrically connected to the core wires are embedded in the receiving grooves of the second receiving portion.

DEVICE FOR FASTENING AND ELECTRICAL CONTACTING OF A VEHICLE WINDOW PANE

A device for fastening and electrical contacting of a vehicle window pane with an integrated electrical functional element. The device includes a pane adapter fixed on the window pane; a pane holder that couples the pane adapter with a vehicle body; a pane-side plug that establishes electrical contact with the functional element when the window pane is assembled; and a pane-side coupling shoe for mounting the pane-side plug on the window pane. The device further includes a mating plug that couples with the pane-side plug to provide electrical contact of the functional element to a control unit. The pane adapter, the pane-side coupling shoe, the pane holder, and a plug holder that supports the mating plug, are kinematically coupled so that during assembly of the window pane using the pane adapter on the pane holder, the pane-side plug is connected to the mating plug.

Connector with wire cover

A wire cover (30) can be mounted to a connector body (C) in any one of a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to a wire drawing port (31). A first mark (M1) and a second mark (M2) having different appearance from each other are provided in the wire cover (30). A first identification mark (S1) is provided on one of both side surfaces of the connector body (C) and a second identification mark (S2) is provided on the other side surface. When the wire cover (30) is mounted in the first direction, the first mark (M1) and the first identification mark (S1) are disposed close to each other. When the wire cover (30) is mounted in the second direction, the second mark (M2) and the second identification mark (S2) are close to each other.
