Plug connector with connector position assurance element and connector assembly including the same

A connector assembly includes a socket connector, and a plug connector with connector position assurance element inserted into the socket connector. The plug connector with connector position assurance element includes an insulating body, a plurality of terminals, a plurality of cables and a connector position assurance element. The insulating body defines a plurality of terminal slots. The plurality of the terminals are assembled in the plurality of the terminal slots. Two opposite ends of each terminal have a connecting end and a fitting end. The connecting ends of the plurality of the terminals are connected to the plurality of the cables. The connector position assurance element is inserted to a top of the insulating body, and then a plug-in status between the plug connector with connector position assurance element, and the socket connector is maintained.

Connector and Cable Assembly Comprising The Same

A connector for connecting to a cable having a conducting wire includes an outer shield adapted to receive the cable. A holder is mounted within the shield and receives a center contact of the connector. The center contact receives and electrically contacts the conducting wire, with at least a portion of the center contact being elastically deformed by the conducting wire as it is inserted into the center contact.

CHARGING SOCKET WITH INTERFACE

A plug socket includes: a first connector face for connecting a plug for transmitting electrical energy and/or electrical signals via at least one contact element; and a second connector face having at least one contact assembly which is fastenable or is detachably fastenable thereto, and which has the at least one contact element, and/or via which the electrical energy and/or the electrical signals is transmittable by at least one electrical line.

Electrical connector with terminal alignment and protection plate

An electrical connector assembly having a housing and a terminal alignment and protection plate. A mating surface of the housing has terminal alignment member receiving channels. The terminal alignment member receiving channels have first retention projections and second retention projections which extend into the terminal alignment member receiving channels. Rigid support members extend from a first surface of the terminal alignment and protection plate in a direction away from a second surface. The support members extend perpendicular to a planar portion of the terminal alignment and protection plate. The support members have flexible support beams which extend between the support members. The flexible support beams extend essentially parallel to the planar portion of the terminal alignment and protection plate.

Connector with direct locking and rotational pre-ejection function

A connector with a direct locking and a rotational pre-ejection function is provided. The connector includes an insulated body, a plurality of terminals, an inner shell, an outer shell, a snap ring, a plurality of fasteners, an ejector, a first elastic element, and a second elastic element. The outer shell has a cam surface, the ejector has an abutting portion, and the abutting portion is in contact with the cam surface. When the connector and a mating connector are inserted into each other, snap bodies of the fasteners and fastener bodies of the mating connector can be snapped into each other to be directly locked. When the connector and the mating connector are to be separated from each other, the snap bodies of the fasteners and the fastener bodies of the mating connector can be separated from each other to be directly unlocked.

Connector with integrated primary lock reinforcement and terminal position assurance

A connector assembly comprises a resilient primary lock for securing a wire terminal with a housing, a primary lock reinforcement (PLR) device, and a PLR actuator for moving the PLR device between pre- and fully-staged configurations. The PLR device is configured to move in response to contact by the PLR actuator as the housing components are mated together. The PLR actuator includes an elongated, tapered finger that wedges against the PLR device during housing mating. A method of reinforcing a primary lock of a connector assembly is also described.

A connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a receptacle module and a pluggable module. The receptacle module includes a cage, a receptacle connector, a biasing spring, and a locking member. The pluggable module is moved from a front end to a back end, so as to be aligned and mated with the receptacle module. The biasing spring is configured to apply a spring load toward the front end of the cage. Accordingly, the mating between the receptacle module and the pluggable module may be accomplished through alignment in the following manner: the pluggable module pushes the receptacle connector toward the back end to compress the biasing spring, so that the receptacle connector is moved toward the back end to the locking member to be mated with the pluggable module.
