CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH A CONNECTOR POSITION ASSURANCE INDICATOR
A connector comprises a connector body having a mating interface configured to engage a complementary mating connector, a first indicator feature carried by the connector body, the first indicator feature having a first partial visual identifier disposed thereon, and a second indicator feature carried by the connector body having a second partial visual identifier disposed thereon, wherein the first and second indicator features are movable relative to each other between a separated position and a joined position, characterized in that the first and second indicator feature form a complete visual identifier only when in the joined position, wherein the first and second indicator features are in the separated position when the connector body is not fully mated relative to the mating connector, and wherein the first and second indicator features are in the joined position responsive to the connector body being fully mated to the mating connector.
Connector
It is aimed to reduce cost. A female connector (F) includes a female housing (30) to be connected to a male housing (10), a lock functioning portion (57) provided on the female housing (30) and configured to lock the female housing (30) and the male housing (10) in a connected state by being locked to the male housing (10), and a releasing member (63) attachable to and detachable to the female housing (30), the releasing member being a component separate from the female housing (30). The releasing member (63) can displace the lock functioning portion (57) to disengage the lock functioning portion (57) from the male housing (10) while being mounted on the female housing (30).
ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
A power adapter assembly includes a first adapter and a second adapter. The first adapter comprises a first housing, pluralities of first electrical terminals and first signal terminals. The second adapter comprises a second housing, pluralities of second electrical terminals and second signal terminals. When the first adapter and the second adapter match with each other, a first latching element is axially coupled with the second latching element to a first position, wherein the two electrical terminals are coupled with each other. When an external force is provided, the first housing is radial with respect to the second housing, and rotates with each other until the two latching elements move to a second position to be securely fastened. The two signal terminals are coupled with each other to send an enabling signal to the control module, so as to enable the power transmission between the two electrical terminals.
MOBILE DEVICE SUPPORT BASE INCLUDING POWER INTERFACES
A support base includes a connector hub having a top end, a bottom end spaced apart from the top end, and a chamber wall extending between the top and bottom ends. The chamber wall defines a chamber within the connector hub. A power interface set may be positioned in the chamber. The power interface set is dimensioned such that an annular support gap is formed between the power interface set and the chamber wall. A cover plate may be coupled to the top end of the connector hub.
Frictional locking receptacle with programmable release
A method and apparatus for securing an electrical connection formed by a mating structure including prongs of a male assembly and receptacles of a female assembly are provided. In certain embodiments, the electrical connection can be secured by frictional engagement between the plug and receptacle housings. This can be accomplished by forcing a wedge into an interface between the housings or expanding a locking element, such as an elastomeric ring, into the interface. Such locking and releasing of the secure connection can be actuated using a locking nut.
WATERPROOF CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a waterproof connector including an integral insulating body, a number of conductive terminals, and an insulating block. The insulating body includes a rear end portion, a front end portion, and a middle portion. The rear end portion defines a number of terminal grooves. The front end portion defines a mating space. The middle portion includes a receiving channel communicating with the terminal grooves. The terminals are disposed in the terminal grooves and extend towards the mating space. The insulating block is injection-molded in the receiving channel and seamlessly fixes the conductive terminals in the terminal grooves. The waterproof connector of the present disclosure can prevent water and dust from entering therein. A method of manufacturing the waterproof connector is also provided.
Methods and systems for managing connector arrays
A system is configured to manage connectors configured to engage with corresponding connector ports. The system maintains the relative position of the connectors. For example, the connectors can be plugged into, or unplugged from, a network component, while retaining a desired arrangement. In some embodiments, the system includes one or more connector blocks, one or more cable blocks, one or more crossbars, one or more latching mechanisms, or a combination thereof. The connector blocks engage the connector tab of each connector, allowing the connector to be inserted/removed without a user having to engage/disengage each connector tab by hand. The cable blocks maintain a relative position among connectors and cables. The crossbar rigidly couples the connector blocks together and provides a rigid connection to a mounting reference such as, for example, a standard networking rack. The latching mechanisms secure and release the crossbar from the mounting reference.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR DOCKSIDE POWER PEDESTALS
A receptacle assembly includes one or more receptacle housing members, each having an inner portion which extends outwardly beyond the housing member defining an asymmetrical opening therebetween to secure a male connector. The inner portion includes openings to secure electrical prong members from the male connector. Electrical connectors extend from the inner portion to electrical power lines from a dockside power pedestal or post. A mounting assembly portion of the retrofit receptacle assembly secures the receptacle to the dockside power pedestal or post.
Method of operating a connector latch for a housing
Method of operating a connector latch used to securely hold together a connector apparatus, wherein the connector apparatus has at least a first housing and a second housing which can be mated together. Initially, after the connector latch is manufactured, the connector latch is in an undeflected position. After manufacture, the connector latch is subjected to a pre-mating deflection process, in order to deflect the connector latch into a preloaded position. After the pre-mating deflection process has been completed, the connector latch is locked in the preloaded position. The preloaded connector latch provides a number of desirable characteristics, including at least an extra loud “click” sound when the connecting latch is operated to mate the first housing with the second housing.
Air cleaner
Disclosed herein is an air cleaner capable of being coupled or separated in a vertical direction to improve space utilization. An air cleaner may include a first air cleaning module provided with a first connection unit, and a second air cleaning module detachably coupled to the first air cleaning module and provided with a second connection unit, wherein the second connection unit is configured to be detachably coupled to the first connection unit, and configured to be rotatable with respect to the first connection unit when the second connection unit is coupled to the first connection unit.
