Latch for telecommunications connector
A connector assembly (10) is disclosed in which a main body (12) and a latch member (30) are provided. In one aspect, the latch member (30) is formed as a spring and has a first portion (32) with a locking rib structure (38) that can be depressed towards the main body (12) to allow the connector assembly (10) to be inserted through a front side (102a) or a back side (102b) of an opening (102) in a panel (100). After insertion, the first portion (32) can then be released such that a retention structure (18) of the main body (12) and the locking rib structure (38) engage opposite ends of an opening (102) to secure the connector assembly (10) within the opening (102). The same connector (10) assembly (10) can be used with openings (102, 202, 302) of different sizes without modification.
Snap button fastener providing electrical connection
Embodiments are generally directed to a snap button fastener providing electrical connection. An embodiment of a fastener includes a first mechanical part, the first mechanical part including at least a stud portion, the first mechanical part including a first electrical connector; a second mechanical part, the second mechanical part including at least a socket portion with a spring element and the socket portion, the second mechanical part including a second electrical connector. The stud portion of the first mechanical part and the socket portion of second mechanical part, if separated, are to interlock upon the application of a first force towards each other, and, if interlocked, to separate upon the application of a second force away from each other. The first electrical connector and the second electrical connector are to be electrically connected when the first mechanical part and the mechanical part are interlocked, and first electrical connector and the second electrical connector are to be disconnected when the first mechanical part and second mechanical part are separated.

Set of connectors having a locking device
A set of electrical connectors includes a connector and a mating connector. The connector comprises a locking device mounted on a housing so as to slide in a locking direction between a pre-locking position and a locking position. The connector also has a latch. The latch is provided with a locking surface for locking the connector to the mating connector. The latch extends between a junction that joins it to the body of the housing and at least the locking surface in a direction opposite to the locking direction.
Cable connector having a latching lever
A cable connector, especially an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) connector, has an insulating body and an abutment bridge. The insulating body includes a housing and locking elements integrally manufactured with the housing. The locking elements include a lever and a bearing axle. The lever is doubly connected to the housing. A bearing axle of the locking element is designed to be inserted into a bearing recess of the abutment bridge.
Electrical connector with electromechanical locking
An electrical connector provided with at least one male or female plug configured to be connected to a socket. The electrical connector includes at least one locking system provided with a polarized ferromagnetic locking element and with a return element, which are configured to have a first shape corresponding to a locking configuration of the electrical connector that is at least partially complementary to a shape of the connection plug or of the socket when an intensity of a current flowing through the connection plug is higher than or equal to a predetermined value, and a second shape corresponding to a non-locking configuration of the electrical connector when the intensity of the current flowing through the connection plug is lower than the predetermined value, so as to electromechanically lock the connection plug in the socket of the connector.
CONNECTOR
A connector described herein includes a circuit board housing, circuit board terminals, an electric cable housing, electric wire terminals, and a holder. The circuit board housing is fixed to a circuit board. The circuit board terminals are held by the circuit board housing. The electric cable housing is coupled to an end of the electric cable. The electric wire terminals are held by the electric cable housing. The holder maintains electrical connection between the circuit board terminals and the electric wire terminals. The holder is fixed to the circuit board housing and the electric cable housing. The holder has a strength less than a strength of the circuit board housing and a strength of the electric cable housing.
CONNECTOR RECORDING SYSTEM WITH READABLE AND RECORDABLE INDICIA
The invention generally provides a connector recording system or platform that includes a recording system designed to interact with a connector system to read an indicia and then transfer, store, and display information associated with the positioning of the connector system in the installed component or device. The connector system includes a male housing assembly, a female housing assembly coupled to the male housing assembly in a connected state, and a connector position assurance assembly with the indicia and a locking member that is movable between locked and unlocked positions. In the locked position, the locking member secures the male housing assembly to the female housing assembly and the indicia can be read by the scanner to signal that the connector position assurance assembly is in the locked position. In the unlocked position, the indicia is in a state that does not allow the scanner to obtain information from the indicia.
DATA SIGNAL TRANSMISSION CONNECTOR
Provided is a data signal transmission connector configured to electrically connect a first electronic component and a second electronic component includes a first base frame and a second base frame having a structure which are mirror-symmetrical, the first base frame and the second base frame being disposed to face each other and to be spaced apart from each other.
Adapter, Plug Connector Assembly and Connector Assembly
A plug connector assembly comprises a plug connector having an elastic locking structure for locking to a socket connector. The elastic locking structure is movable between a locking position engaged with the socket connector, and an unlocking position separated from the socket connector. An adapter of the assembly includes a pressing structure and a pull stop structure. The plug connector is received within the adapter for mating with the socket connector slidably inserted into the adapter. When the plug connector is received within the adapter, the pressing structure presses and holds the elastic locking structure in the unlocking position, and the pull stop structure abuts the elastic locking structure for preventing the plug connector from being pulled out of the adapter.
